Yes cylinders were tightened. But I already see where you're going with this. Should loosen them up correct? But would that destroy base gasket?

I believe the cylinders were baught online. I'm going to guess eBay.

Buddy is doing a rebuild. He baught new stock cylinders. Installed the studs for new cool head. Tried placing head down on studs and they don't line up with the holes. Any advice on how to Correct them problem?

Looking for a place to have my jugs ported. Have 2 01 shees. One stock the other far from stock. Want to do complete rebuild on the stock quad. Will be stock stroke 30 over and other mods as well. My question to everyone is, has anyone had porting done by Ken at Ken O'Connor racing out of CT. Watched some vids on YouTube of his work. Any advice is greatly appreciated. BTW I live in upstate NY. Well this all Started cause of a rod bearing failure. Crank kit is on its way. Entire engine will be new other than cases. New clutch,everything. Want everything on hand when I start my build in the next week

yes lid is on but no snorkel and i put 2 one inch holes near back of lid. concerned with dust. abandoned railroad track dust seems to be very abbrasive stuff. any other opinion on what to do for more air? eg. no lid diff filter other than twin air? lots of money in this build. just want to protect my investment.

by the time this ground up rebuild is done outside temps will be in the 60's. live in upstate ny so no winter riding for me. thx for replying to my post.

machine not new to me. port job is my newest mod for this engine. elevation between 600-700 fasl. ground up rebuild for spring riding. so no (baby bottle)? so use stock cross over? 310 mains i will try. what size pilot

need a little help with some jetting please. i have (if you will) stage3 porting. not quite dune. stock carbs with 260 mains and 27.5 pilots. other mods include 20 over, cool head w/21 cc domes, +4 timing, fmf fatty pipes, v-force 3, boost bottle no snorkle on air box and a rev box as well. any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you
