I have a 2002 banshee with FMF silencer LRD exhaust heads, vfroce 4 reeds. Banshee use to be reliable and run great then one day I started stuttering and wouldn't start until I let it sit. Now it will start ride up and run good for the first 5-15 mins then stutters to a stop and won't start unless u let it sit. Any idea what this could be?

Float level is not correct as the carb leaks gas. Could this part of the problem?I had checked the carb and the main and pilot jet look clear and normal

I had checked the carb and the main and pilot jet look clear and normalCheck that carb yet? Can you see through main, pilot , and holes on side of emulsion tube? Check float level.
Depending on how it runs and starts, and budget could run it. Or throw a set of rings in it IF the piston clearance is less than service limit.
Or it may be time for a fresh bore.

Hey my 01 banshee stopped is barley smoking out of one pipe and is bogging now. Could this a dead cylinder? How should I go about fixing this?

So I don't have to do be concerned with the width? I just want to be sure that 20x11-10 tires will fit on those rimsAny and all 10" rim diameter tires will fit on those rims.

Hey can anyone tell me what size tires would fit on a 10X9 3.0 + 6.0 - Rear rim?

Thank you. You have helped out a lotso a proflow air filter?
With no lid, your main sounds like it might be a tad rich, but best to start rich when first jetting.
The pilot sounds good.

The intake fits in the air box, but the air box has no lidLRD exhaust, not sure on the intake bc I bought the quad used it is a single non foam filter with an outerwear over it.

Do this set up make sense? :what is your current pilot, needle, clip position?
With exhaust and open air box, you should be over 280 main and 30 pilot.
With reeds, pilot might stay at 30, but main should jump up one or two sizes. Depends on reeds.
Intake ,exhaust, vf4reeds,
320main jets, 30 pilot

Hey everyone I'm wondering what main jets I should be running on my banshee. The banshee has an intake and exhaust.i bought the quad with 290 main jets and it started to sputter around 3/4 to WOT. I'm now running 260 maons jets and the quad is running great but I've been told that this is too lean and risk seizing. So my questions are what do u think my jetting should be now. And also what my jetting should be after a timing advance +4 and new vf4 reeds?

Even tho I had a sputter at WOT when I had 290s? My banshee seems to run greatWhat hes means is youre running lean which usually means that your engine will soon seize.... which i would agree to a certain point..

Can you explain what u mean?Wait! 260 mains with exhaust and intake? That's a time bomb waiting to go off.

I had 290s on there when I bought the quad and it had a bog/ sputter at top end. Was fixed when I went down to 260dYeah throw some 300s or 290s in there.

I don't have the timing advanced yet. What main and pilot jets do u recommend for exhaust intake and reeds, with an advanced timing of +4Wait! 260 mains with exhaust and intake? That's a time bomb waiting to go off.

After letting it run I noticed some coolant drip on to the exhaust heads. Not a lot but any ideas what this would mean I think it's coming from the overflow
