  1. my property is in town of Decatur in Schoharie county . 4hrs north of nyc .
  2. ok so, I just put 45 pilot jet in and idle screw at 1 1/2 , and moved needle clip to the 3rd position . took It out for a quick ride and seemed to be more responsive low end , pulled the plugs and they are much lighter in color ( white with a little brownish color ) . I thnk I'm close with some minor airscrew adjustments needed ,I will have a better idea when I get a chance to ride it for more time hopefully its just aircrew adjustments from here on out .
  3. Banshee#527 ..I live on long island . No good spots to ride here anymore . unless you want to spend your day running from cops . most of the local pay to ride tracks suck and don't like people with banshee believe it or not .   5. Yes New plugs do help but quickly get black , fuel is fresh . I will try the airscrew ajustment . if it improves do you think drop a pilot jet size and bring airscrew back to 1 1/2 turns out. Sent from my VS985 4G using Tapatalk
  6. I'm chasing the same problem . my plugs look exactly the same . are you getting a low end bogg after its warmed up . mine is bogging like a son of bitch when warmed up. But hits hard past 1/8 to wot . I do a lot of trail riding so think I'm narrowed down to rich pilot circuit. Good luck man hope you figure yours out as well . Sent from my VS985 4G using Tapatalk
  7. Reeds are good . they are seated good no cracks . electrical is solid . got good blue spark . I checked harness out all good . it's the black spark plugs that is killing me . They look rich . and the bogg getting worse when it warms up seems everything symptomatic of a rich running pilot circuit . Sent from my VS985 4G using Tapatalk
  8. whats up guys , well here is my symptoms 2001 banshee starts firts kick idles nice . has slight bogg 0-1/8 throttle cold . when she warms up the bogg becomes much worse . 1/8-wot she hits hard no issues . plugs are comming out black and appaer to be rich which is what i think is my issue . i just would like to get your guys opionion before i lean her out .so paranoid of leaning out and blowing it up . Any help you guys can give it would be much appreciated . I will list my modes bellow . 2001 banshee ride at sea level t5 pipes keihin 28mm pwk carbs ​boss billet intake noss coolhead 22cc domes no airbox k&n individual filters tores removed stock bore and pistons ( comp is 130 each ) carbon fiber reeds (stock cages ) premix 24-1 castor 927 premix / 97 oct pump gas carb settings 150 main 48 pilot needle 2nd clip air screw 1 1/2 turns out

  10. Im running a set of chrome flat slide 28mm pwk carbs .I have not had any issues with them at all . only thing I don't like about them is the plastic idle screw . But you can change it out to an easy adjust metal idle screw .

Ok ..let her sit for a few days and tried with fresh plugs . and same issue . so I figured I would pull the motor and tear it down and go through everything , as i took my pipes off I noticed something in them . long story short God damn mice got into both pipes and packed them up with insulation from my garage . cleaned them out and she fired up first kick and is running good . thanks all for your help much apreciated .

  14. I know the sizes are diferent than makuni . I have keihin pwk carbs . I will double check but I think it's correct size for my mods and altitude I ride at
  15. Do you know offhand what the pop off pressure should be ? I think it's around 7psi but not sure .
  16. I will pick up a fresh set of plugs and see what happens . i personally think it's deeper issue than that but i will thrilled if fresh set of plugs does the trick .
  17. It cleans right off and looks like that again after trying to start 3-4 times
  18. It was a brand new NGK br8es. That's after it trying to start 3 times .
  19. Ok so her it goes .... 01 banshee never seen it run baught it and put everything listed bellow into it .Torres removed , brand new 28mm pwk flat slide carbs main jet 150, pilot 45. I ride at sea level . noss cool head with 22cc domes. Comp is 133 and 134 . t5 exhaust . Air box removed k&n style air filters . went through electrical system all seems to ohm out within spec .went through the wireing harness . spark is blue . reeds are new carbon fiber reeds. Top end is new . when I kick it over it's tries to start and won't even idol and if I give any throttle it bogs right out . after 2 or 3 times of trying I pulled the plugs and they were wet with black\grey crap on them . Any help you guys can give me would be greatly apreciated .

Wellll ....apparently racetech is in the process of being sold to someone else . so my order has been sitting in limbo for over 2 weeks and I received a message from Evan saying he would ship it . but have received NOTHING not even a confirmation shipping email since .At this point I have paypal involved and a case opened . I hate to bad mouth a business but ....if anyone is thinking of purchasing from racetech beware . just wanted to give you guys a heads up .

  23. Let me know how you make out . I think my issue might be deeper than just a rejet . I never heard this bike run . I got it in pieces a year ago from a buddy and put it all back together from ground up . I didn't cut any corners , so I know the build is solid .just want to make sure my fuel delivery is 100% and work my way out from there .

T5 exhaust No air box , K&N filters Carbon fiber reeds Stock piston size Noss cool head with 22cc domes Keihin 28mm pwk flat chrome slide carbs I'm at sea level Tores removed parking brake removed 45pilot 150main Hope that's all info needed , right now there is 45 pilot and 150main . she won't even idol , when it fires it bogs right out . carbs / reeds / top end /cool head , are all brand new . It has blue spark and fresh gas .wondering if its a jetting issue . and what sizes you guys recommend . figure I will start there with the carbs hopefully fixes the issue .
