Cfrp can be easily machined without any delamination. It just costs. It's ultrasonic technology. Mostly seen in aerospace where everyone is getting away from aluminum and going to titanium and composites.

I ran into same issue but was told to go up a size on my mains. I have them ordered but haven't had a chance to try them. Currently I'm 280 mains with 27.5 pilots.

I recently installed v-force 4 reeds and think I need to adjust my jets. Currently have T-6, stock air box and carbs with k&n filter, tors delete. 280 main and 27.5 pilot. Pretty sure engine is all stock, but unsure because I don't want to get into it until I need to replace the top end. It ran decently prior to installing reeds. I am thinking the pilots are good but need to put 290 or 300 main. What are your thoughts? I have a modified timing plate that I plan on installing +4, but haven't done that yet. When I do, will I have to adjust jets for that as well.

 

Any input is greatly appreciated.

I recently installed v-force 4 reeds on my 02. When installing the very last bolt, I was tightening it up when all of a sudden it broke loose. Now I can only get the bolt so tight (just over finger tight) before it loosens up. Is it possible to just get a longer bolt 30mm or will I need to rethread the hole?

 

Is this common? I hadn't even torqued on the bolt yet! I thinks it supposed to be around 8ft-lbs.
