You guys got me on 1/4 mile, but what about top speed. I have ridden a turbo zx11 somewhere in the neighborhood of 190. I looked down, but my vision was somewhat distorted. (Wind coming in helmet) I didn't take my eyes off the road for more than 1 second. I was fukin scared.

Hey nightrider, my friends name is chris nightser, he is in omaha NE. He raced at Bowling reen in some street/strip race and some place in illinois also. He had to go on a street drive for a few miles before the race. He had a canary yellow mustang. He was turning 9.60 on motor and bottle. It was a 460 though. He had a powerglide hooked to it, it was bad. He was still running the 8.8 rear end (if you believe that) I think he had a spool or something in it, he also had the clip eliminator. That thing was bad, but he sold it for 10 grand. He lost his ass on that.

Johhnypoo, I like mustangs, but you were turning 13.2 on a stock motor? I have a friend who can barely turn 13.9 on a stock gt. A new camaro that has the old vet motor in it will spank a stock gt. I have seen it. I see alot of street racing here.

I had an 88 Mustang that ran 13.5 on the motor alone. I only had pulleys, 410 gears in the posi 8.8 rear end, AOD tranny with a 35oo stall, Larger Fuel injectors, edelbrock heads. This thing was quick for what it was. Anyway, a stock 5.0 will smoke an older camaro. Now if you wanna talk newer camaros, that is a different story.

Hey Stan, I did a search on the web for XXX anime. Once I found a few animated pics, I simply right clicked on it and chose save as. I then opened it in Paint shop pro Version 7 and resized it to 80x80 pixels, and had to get the size to a maximum of 6k. I wish it was a bit bigger, but with the BHQ limitations it can't be.

Yesterday at the quad drags I was beating banshees with CPI's, Toomeys, DMC, PC's, FMF, you name it its all the rider.

I like the looks of the CPI's. I have Toomeys now, and I am happy with them. If the T6's are not out by January when I get my carbs and port work, it will be CPI's

Boonman is right. It is all rider on the track. I used to roadrace at heartland park in topeka. I raced a Zx6r. When I raced in the open class, I would beat 750's and 900rr's. I can hold that speed in the corner very good. The corners are where the races are won. But then again, NYUK is dead on with the Gixser 1000. That bike is one bad mutha fuka

I threaded mine through the holes like a needle. I have about 2.5 inches hanging down on mine.

Axles bending. I know a guy who races a shee, he is 2nd in the district in points. He rode the shee stock axle for about a year. Once he got really good (I mean really good, he is an A rider lapping other A riders) he bent the stocker. he ordered a durablue, bent it on a practice night. After Durablue wanted his firstborn son, they sent a replacement, and he sold it. He is doing sick jumps, clearing triples. I know some b riders on 2 wheels who can't even clear the triple. Anyway, he went to the lonestar and bent 1 about 6 months later, they warranted it no problem, and he has been on it since 4-5 months.
