  1. Holy crap, the 04's came with razor rears from the factory? I missed out
  2. I am not saying it's a bad bike. Just requires a little more tlc than the Honda. From what I can see it doesn't look too bad. Good luck with the buy.
  3. The tri z is nostalgic for sure but unless you know what you are doing leave the engine as oem as possible. I am building an 85 motor for a customer right now. The tri z doesn't do well with static comp over 175. The cooling system on that bike makes a banshee look like state of the art. Also make sure that the kickstarter and gear set is in good working order. They are notorious for exploding and busting the kick side case which is rare as hens teeth. If you are looking for reliability and something to put high hp to, look for a 3rd gen 250r. Also, parts availability, especially aftermarket is pretty much nill for the z.

  7. Didn't like how these were mounting so I went in a different direction. These are brand new. 40.00 includes the ride.
  8. I am now tired of dickin' with it. I spoke with a streamline rep and they were more clueless than me. So, I called American star mfg and got a set of their dual brake line off the master. I now have a set of streamline, +2, brake lines for sale, only been mounted once....lol.
  9. Awesome! Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  10. So you run two lines from the master to the caliper with no tee? Is there a special banjo for that? Or a kit perhaps? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  11. Are you referring to the dual line setup from the master to the tee? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  12. That's one helluva idea right there. Thank you! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  13. Good ideas, thanks! I would have thought it just would have mounted in the stock location...no muss, no fuss.
  14. Evening all. This one has me stumped and I can't find any help online or otherwise. I purchased the streamline +2 front brake line kit, the 3 piece. I have tried every angle I can think of to mount this baystad tee fitting on the stock mounting location and it's beating me. Is there a trick to this or do I need to get a spacer/collar to put behind it? I noticed the OEM tee is much thicker and sits on the ledge of the frame. Thanks for any insights!
  15. Actually they do. Mine came in yesterday. I installed them and they are a great help for sagging rear fenders.
  16. Price drop to 110.00 which includes the ride.
  17. Hi all, I have a banshee clutch assembly for sale. This item is located in St. Louis, Mo. Asking 120.00 which includes the ride. Normal wear, nothing excessive on these parts. Pics below. Should you have any questions or inquiries about purchasing, send me a PM. Below is a link to the pics of the assembly. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?/gallery/album/2395-banshee-parts/
  18. Thanks all for your help. The oil is fresh in the cases and I feared it may have been the slight grooving in the fingers causing the plates to stick. The cable is original to the machine. I might as well get the whole clutch setup with a new cable. I will also try to set the actuator as sleeper suggested. @ Trickedcarbine, what is a pancake adjuster? Is that something seperate from the pancake bearing assembly I received?
  19. Hi all, First post, but long time follower. Been riding and racing trikes most of my life and bought a banshee over the winter. Rebuilt the entire motor and finally got it dialed in. Having an issue now and looking for outside help. With the clutch fully engaged I have a minor (very minor) creep if i blip the throttle high enough. The issue is relatively new and wondering if I need to crack the right side case open and manually adjust. I am running the ASV lever/perch and have adjusted it out to have 1/16 play. I have the pancake bearing installed along with the driveline fibers/steels and stiffer springs. The clutch basket has some grooves in the fingers but IMO they weren't significant enough to warrant a filing or a new basket. I have seen worse on my race trikes with no issues. I also have the modded shift star and modded shift shaft from FAST. My other issue is when shifting into first it isn't smooth and sort of "bangs" into gear. Is this the typical nature of the banshee or should I investigate further. Thanks in advance for any help!
