  1. the 4mm crank u have for sale whats what length I am in market for new or even used 4mm 115m long rod crank pay pal ready
  2. I am near long point, port dover and if that don't help then hour south of Woodstock on lake erie... there was no spacer plate and as far as porting goes I haven't really checked for porting... now I do no crank that came out of motor is a wiseco stroker long rod crank and piston is 795m06500 which is wisecos 65mm piston for long rod cranks.... I am about to order here soon thinking I am going with the vito's banshee ultra stroker +4 stroke long rod engine rebuild kit... if you go to vito's web site go to banshee, then engine kits, then its the second kit or last same thing... 675 us and 112us to ship works out to 1046.51 cad I tried posting linking but wont let me copy and paste into txt I just got the quad a week ago today it was blown up when I got it... but price was right considering I new it needed rebuilt and gives me a starting point to build it my way and I will no it was built proper and not someones half ass job that's going to pop pistons every other week
  3. what you you guys choose now between the vitos stroker long rod engine kit, or go with a wiseco set up.. or if not neither of them then what manufacture do you suggest and why just don't feel like ordering anything that people have had major issues and don't trust the quality of the parts. I personally thinking vitos over wiseco seeing vitos all they more less do is these Yamaha 2 strokes as where wiseco does everything from cars to lawn mowers probly so thinking to my self s a company that's built a reputation off just one brand is probly the best choice in quality and performance over a company that builds everything
  4. here is the crank, con rod, and piston that let go
  5. yes the cases are split... I had to split them anyway cause the con rod on flywheel side isn't even attached to the crank anymore.. and found it was the crank seal let go on fly wheel which leaned it out and caused piston to pop a nice size hole on exhaust side... which then chunk must have got jammed in the crank/con rod and locked it up. as well the con rod is bent I will snap some pics and post the distruction it caused in a hour or so.... yes I have done lots of research onto what I wanna do which I am honestly leaning towards my stroker crank a long rod on a 65.5 mill piston... I can hone the cylinders and leave it at 65mil pistons but I would feel better boring as there is some minor scuffs in cylinder that blew as well as piston burnt onto cylinder which should clean off.... and I was riding before a full factory ride can am ds 450 completely built dasa porting 14.5:1 cp piston, custom fmf exhaust tubing was larger then consumer stuff, bored tb, larger injector, ecu heavy modded, straight 110 octane race fuel 8 percent oxy fuel.... I never really got bored of it how ever I just rd it retarded to the point most people I rd with called me nuts and don't under stand the faster u go across the whoops the smoother it is... as long as u are comfortable and able to control it in a whoop section that u only have maybe a foot on each side of quad before ur into the trees.... so ya didn't really get bored of it just got use to it and always wanting more
  6. ok lets start this off.. this is my first banshee I have ever owned and have been wowed by the aftermarket availability and motor options. now that been said I am no where near new to riding quads and use to race at the pro level in Ontario Canada.. I just got the banshee a week ago knowing it was blown up and during tear down I found that it had a wiseco +4 115mm long rod crank and wiseco 65mm 40 over pistons. also has dg full exhaust and no rev limter so I am told.(never rode it yet so cant confirm rev limiter)... now what I am wondering is should I just toss the motor back together in same configuration other then boring to next size using wiseco everything again or use the vito's crank and pistons in same configuration other then boring to next size... or should I just toss a 68mm big bore top end kit and get a stroker long rod crank, or cub 421 kit. just trying to weigh my options here all though well knowing I am going to get use and sick of the power it makes quick and end up rebuilding it over winter or next time it pops a piston as everything I get I get sick of it build it to the max I can and end up getting bored and sell it.. which is kinda why I am thinking to build motor way I got it so I have room to mod later but at same time I don't wanna build a new motor in a month or two because I am bored of power I have at hand and not only that I don't wanna build it to max now and get bored of that and turn around and sell either so I am kinda in a pickle and unsure whats best idea... as well I don't no whats best option for motor builds in size and quality of parts.... any help to get my parts ordered I will be vary thankful as corn field is coming off as I am writing this help letter... thanks in advance
