So the fox podium is very adjustable? I wondered why there was not a section to give swing arm length or rider weight. That helps my decision, thanks.

I ride all dunes on a 70 hp bike with +2+1 LSR arms and Fox Floats with reservoirs. Pretty happy with it right now, but am starting to notice the rear bottoms out and the bike likes to buck over whoops. Currently running a +6 swing arm, and was going to go back down to a +4, but will eventually go to a 4 mill Serval setup and have decided to stay at 6. 

 

So, with my rear shock, I am reading up and trying to decide if it should be sent out and re-built re-valved, or if I should just spend the extra few hundred and get the Fox Podium shock. Most of the threads are older, and a lot say to rebuild, but currently there seems to be more options on a replacement rear for not much more dough.

 

I have had several of these bikes over the past decade, and this is going to be my last, all out, build it the way I want it bike.

 

Any opinions? Money matters, but it doesn't long term, I really like this bike.

 

Who is the current go to guys for having the rear built?

How is the chrome on the brake lever? Specs on shocks? Regular or long travel arms? Post a list of what you have..
