Should I start a new carburetor thread? Or try to ride the cold start issue out with this thread? Any help is greatly appreciated here.

Will not thread in though...? Wonder if the threads inside are stripped out or if there is something else in there (looks silver but could be stripped threads. So tiny and far down it is VERY hard to tell.) Or is this even the left side bowl...?

it has a O with a line through it and 1.4 on it.

Can anyone verify this? I am pretty sure there is a hidden choke/starter jet nestled/hidden to the ordinary individual in choke side bowl...

Compression test at 124...Passed leakdown. I think it has to do with starter jet that fell out of bowl....any input. It wont thread into bowl either...??Thanks for the help. I just don't understand how this choke jet would not allow my banshee to start and I totally needed to do those tests...sarcasm...

Where does this starter jet reside...Nobody seems to be familiar with these jets...

Choke jet....? Would it cause misfire as well?

I rebuilt Go-Peds when I was younger, LOL, these Banshees are making me learnnn now. More advanced when you go from 29cc. to 350 twin...LOL

Aside from that, any input on the jet?

Think you were right sir about the leaks...Carb may have been the culprit.

Hey guys, I rebuilt this thing. Bought it in pieces. P.O. said it had no compression to the point where he could push over easily with hand. Still ran though...Rebuilt top end to find it was 66mm. Bought Namura 66 mm bore piston kit. Started up fine. Carbs were overflowing. Cleaned carbs, Assembled and it wouldnt start easily. Intake leak in right boot...replaced...quad wouldnt start without starting fluid at first then started fine. Today, I poured a lil premix directly in cylinder and she fired right up. Left cylinder was backfiring and missing. Tried to run compression test but was probably doing it wrong, Anyhow, both looked in the same ballpark. Took carb off in last ditch effort. Turn bowl upside down, voila, a jet falls out of the bowl, 1.4 it says. I cannot find where she resides though...Could this jet be the core of my issues?

which sticky for leakdown tester would you guys recommend as well?

Rage_cage came out and inspected jetting. No psi test just feel.

Tons of comp. Would the ring prevent the motor from running properly when started? It runs great when it fires up...Just the first cold start needs starting fluid...

66mm namura on stock jugs and head. Does not start cold without starting fluid...Rage cage helped rebuild carbs...jetting is correct for fmf sst and powercore 2's...Once started, starts 1st kick....
