You are absolutely right!! But I have to admit I had a noob moment.... I ordered genuine rings an have Wisceo pistons..... An found out the hard way they don't work togeather... Soo I got the proper rings in now an have the bike running!!! Having some problems now with my kill switch setup, previous owner removed the key an installed a pull tether which has gotten old an cuts the ignition on an off.... Aswell the kill switch dosnt work for some reason or another.

I'm installing pistons into my banshee motor and I'm at the rings as I'm typing this. I'm using genuine Yamaha rings which way up an down do I install them? The rings have t2 and 50 on one side of them on each side of the gap. But the ring gap is cut at an angle which way is up?

ok im going to use this motor for now in my banshee till my original motor is rebuilt. I know with the blaster an dt200 the gears are quite abit different, aswell the transmission shafts are thinner in the dts so the clutch an gears will not work in a blaster. just hoping that's not the case with the rz because I would like to use banshee gears in the bottom end of it in time cuz I imagin the gearing for the rz is abit far off for a quad??

I bought a spare banshee motor the other day and when looking at it closely today I am suspicious that it is a rz/rd 350 motor. the crank cases are black and the side case is silver (opposite as my banshee motor) aswell there is an RPM hookup on the back of the crankcase. I have built blasters for years now an am familiar with the dt200s with them, I know gear ratios differ. im in the process of getting this rz350 motor running (using banshee cylinders) an am curious how different the gear ratios are then the banshee motor?? dos anyone here run rz bottom ends?? aswell could banshee transmission gears an clutch work in rz cases????
