  3. But wouldn't the problem follow the plug if it was a bad cap?. I already tore the whole bike apart cleaned and checked everything except the Pistons .   11. Compression is 140 and I'm doing 91 octane mixed 32:1. The previous owner did 93 octane and mixed 40:1 and it still popped . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I pulled my reeds out yesterday . None of them were broken or chipped . You could see a bit of light at the end so I flipped them and they sealed correctly . I did notice a couple Of spots of light . Do you think that would be major enough to to cause that problem ?. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. The current jetting is 290 at 4500 ft elevation. It's on 91 octane and mixed 32:1 w A/F needle out one turn both carbs . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  16. Leak down test pass, clean carbs , compression test done about 140 each side, new plugs , switched plugs wires ( it didn't follow ), I don't know what else to check . Right pipe still has popping noise . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I forgot to mention that When I did a couple runs the other day I noticed that the right fatty wasn't as hot as the left fatty. What would cause this?. The right pipe is the one that is popping . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Thank you every one for the advice . I returned the cheap HF comp tester and got a good one . Right side measured 139 lbs and left at 140 lbs . How does this sound for pressure ? Leak down test kit is drying and I'll be doing that tomorrow . Today I grabbed some packing stuff for the pipes and will be working on that tomorrow as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  23. I hooked it up to an 02 banshee and it came back to the same reading . The only thing is that my 02 runs fine. I I took it out for the first time in AZ today and ran it a couple times . It ran strong I just don't know why it pops like that. My 02 just makes the normal riddling sound out of the pipes . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  25. I finally got a compression tester from harbor freight. I warmed up the engine, pulled a plug out, and held the throttle wide open and this is the reading that I got First picture is left side and second is the right side . I was expecting 160 lbs. anyone know what's going on here ?. I pulled out the jets I had before (300) and went down two sizes 290. It still makes a popping sound on the right pipe.
