http://www.bluetraxx.com/tech/images/impeller_6lg.jpg is that a seal where the impeller shaft is going in to ?? i wanna make sure i have every seal and gasket when i do water pump job because im getting coolant in gear oil somehow . . . i have case gasket and water pump gasket . . . what other seal or gasket do i need ? getting my clymer manual in the mail soon sorry for noob questions .

sorry im a lil confused , so what im looking for is play between basket (which is the thing with the plates) and the gear right ? . . . so i take both basket and gear off and check for play when there both off the bike and in my hand ? also i am somewhat mechanically inclined but im not an expert . is this very straight forward job ? cuz i see that the screws on basket are spring loaded . . just sizing the job up to see if i can do it myself instead of taking it to rip off dealer . thanks in advance i appreciate the response

how bad is this ? also i wanted to overhaul water pump side im going with mull engineering impellar shaft and drive gear what are ALL seals i should change when im there so the milky oil is no longer a problem ?
