  1. Sorted now lads , thanks for the help
  2. So , if i tighten the nut , the collar will start coming out the tail end , the end thats closest to the tyre?
  3. Ok , so tell me if ve got this correct ..Inside the big lock nut there is a threaded sleeve which should be half in the lock nut and half sticking out so that it can then be threaded into the sprocket and hold the axel in place ?? Also, going from looking at my pics , is the lock nut facing the correct way or do i have to turn it?? Thanks guys ..
  4. shouldnt it be the other way around and tight against the rear sprocket?
  5. These are the pics , too me it looks like the nut is round the wrong way as it slides about and all that keeps it in place is a C clip ?
  6. Sorry but I dont understand ? Upload them via facebook or save the pic from fb then upload it via laptop? I dont have an iphone , I have sony Z3
  7. for some reason every pic i try and upload , it says the file is too big??
  8. Here are the pics of the axel and lock nut , it looks back to front to me on the axel there is a groove for a C clip to slide into , it seems this is all that holds my locknut in place to stop the axel sliding out?
  9. I wonder if anyone can help me here... My lock nut on my rear axel just seems to move about freely, it seems like the only thing stopping the axel from sliding out is the C clip ? The nut also looks like it is on the axel back to front as the side that faces the wheel has a thread on it , it looks like its supposed to have something bolted on to it on to it or as if it has to be threaded on to the sprocket (if that makes sense?) Just looking for some advice peeps as this is my first shee Thanks in advance.
  10. is there any links regarding the lock nut on the rear axel ?
