  1. The cut is small and is definitely patchable, just getting aggravated. I was almost done too. It's a small cut maybe about an 1/8" or so Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Welp, I have one cut and just put a fucking hole in the other one. Got too deep. Fucking Christ. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. You all think it'll pull ok with a 15 tooth front and 43 rear? I'm sure I'll find out tomorrow but I think these may a little more to turn for a stock motor...the ambushes are definitely heavier than the 14 paddles. Guess I'll just have to wait and see. I just have a feeling if they actually hook up well it may bog taking off in 2nd...running a 1-N-2-5 override. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. That actually looks handy, I've never saw one of those before...tires are mounted and prepared for cutting. I'm gonna use a sawzall like Tyler suggested. Should have updates tomorrow, good or bad. I'm kinda fuckin nervous, lmao. Would suck to ruin a brand new set of tires. I'll just be super careful. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Anyways tomorrow I'm gonna mount and work on the middle tread...only did the sides since those are probably the easiest. Was actually surprised I got them looking pretty nice with a hacksaw...lol. Some fine tuning with a razor and they'll look great. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  7. Got the side lugs cut off when I got home from work...decided to use a hacksaw and actually got them pretty fucking close. Please no comments about my tool of choice. Lmao Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I also went with the 22x10x9...hope that's not too much for a little stock stroke/cylinder...guess I may also be playing with gearing if that's the case Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Yeah I was thinking about those as well. I ordered some ambushes last night so I'll just make an attempt to cut them myself. It shouldn't be hard as long as I'm careful. And I got a great explanation from Tyler's method to cut them so I'll give it a whirl and give an update on how it goes... Was surprised that 2 rears only cost me 115$. Anyways they should be here either tomorrow or the next day so I'll post back with pictures, if I'm successful...lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. You seem experienced cutting these bitches so let me know Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Or call me, doesn't matter. I'll message you my number Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Message me your address and I'll fuckin order em and send to you here in the next week..give me a price to cut and for shipping to Me Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I'm in Virginia. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Dude I messaged you about yours before...I'm just scared I'll fuck up and ruin a set. If I buy them and have them shipped to you will you cut em for a price?? Haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Hey guys, finally got the bike to a track today and made a few passes. Stock cylinder stock stroke on alky. It ran great, no hiccups in the engine or carbs at all (40mm lectrons). I researched here and made a few threads and got them tuned well late last year. However, I was running 13 paddles on a hard packed clay track...not the best idea obviously but I was itching to get it out. Obviously I couldn't get it to hook at all. So what are my options as far as tires? We run hard packed clay mostly, as I previously stated. I've saw the cut ambushes that a few people run and what not but I'm not comfortable cutting tread of tires so just looking for some better alternatives. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Okay Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. When I say snug I mean in relation to the gold piece (not sure on the name) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. So I'm not familiar but which side would it go on? It seems to be offset. It fits snug on one side and loosely on the other Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Ok I'll check the other one and see if they're both like that. It caught me off guard, just wanted to ask you all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Hi guys, first time I've taken these carbs apart to thoroughly clean and inspect them and I'm a little confused. I believe there are supposed to be 2 floats, however I only have one inside one of the two. Is this normal or what? Ignore the shit inside it, that's why it's apart. Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  22. Ok awesome. Just wanted to check and make sure it was normal, I'm still new to methanol in general. Awesome, thanks for the reassurance. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Hey guys. I had a thread about 6 months ago about tuning lectrons and methanol and what not, and had them to what I believe was pretty damn close to perfect. I'm running 39mm lectrons with methanol 28:1. Stock stroke and stock cylinder. Decided today I would get it out today and run it a little (nothing crazy), just to make sure everything was still in order. It's about 60 degrees here, so not really warm but not cold. It was a bitch to get started. Finally I got it started and idle but barely touching the throttle would bog it off. So I let it Idle for a few minutes and started revving it lightly and it was spitting fuel out of both pipes. A lot of fuel. I assume it was just flooded, not sure. So my question is is this normal for alcohol motors to be hard to start cold and is it normal for them to spit fuel everywhere until it warms up? After warming up I ran it around the yard a little and it was fine. Revved clean and pulled hard with no issues. Just a little concerned something may be up, so I came here to ask. I believe someone told me alcohol won't foul plugs, it'll just blow the fuel out of pipes. Just want to make sure nothing could be wrong. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Not to seem like I'm an expert (because I'm not), but he's right. You get what you pay for. If you care about the wellbeing of your bike (and possibly yourself), cheaper is definitely not better. Turn to the site sponsors here. They have this shit down to a science. Best of luck!
  25. At least you're in the right hands here.
