  1. ok, so either the guy has something real agressive in it porting wise, or he loves to smell race fuel lol.
  2. well and it may very well have it. Just the guy that owns it doesnt really know what its got going on. my Raptor is making 49whp. i figure a 2 stroke needs a bit more to hang just due to a lack of torque? maybe im wrong never rode one. That is all he really knows about it, i did some reading, and i read that raising the exhaust port could cause lower psi but higher dynamic compression causing the need for race fuel. Just wandering if there is a way to tell what else has been done to the thing?
  3. Looking at buying my first banshee. I own a raptor 700 with barker duals, fci intake, and msd blaster fi with the HDD timing maps, and im really happy with it power wise. I however want to play around with a two stroke. I found one semi local that has Toomey T5 pipes, Cool head(not sure what domes), V force reeds. All he knows is he bought it for his kid and its way to fast. The guy he bought it from told him it needed 110 octane fuel. so my question is, power wise roughly what should i be expecting? anyway to tell what else is done to it or questions i should ask? he sent me pics of a compression test showing 140psi on both jugs. Seems a little low for needing 110 octane to me, but i guess exhaust port timing etc can cause this on 2 strokes?
