  1. Thanks in the process of replacing all of the oil seals and gaskets in the engine with a fresh top end. Can't wait for summer already
  2. Because they're hopping off of a yamaha grizzly asking to drive my machine that has thousands of dollars sunk into it. If they have a banshee that's built up and understand what 94 hp feels like then I would have no issue.
  3. My absolute favorite is when people that I know and ride with ask if they can take my 421 cub for a ride and get offended when I say no. "I know how to use a clutch, my cousin has a 400ex"
  4. Ok I'll pick up a few new jets and start from there. Thanks again
  5. Ok I do have a 50 pilot on hand to start with but someone else suggested a 152 main for this setup. Way too lean?
  6. I have a banshee cub that I'm building and I'm looking for a good starting point with jets. Mods: -68mm bore cub cylinders (stage 2 port work done) -4mm crank -23cc domes -35mm pwk carbs -CEL needles -chariot intake with no boost bottle -vforce 3 reeds -cpi small bore in frame pipes -adjustable timing plate -cfm aluminum air box -2 k&n pod filters ..... pretty sure that's all of the important stuff that can effect the jetting I was told that, the CEL needles were used in a lot of 421 cubs so I just grabbed them. My house is at 1600ft elevation in PA Any help appreciated
  7. Yeah I was considering a 22 inch rear tire because I do have a 44 tooth rear sprocket on hand. 15/44 with 22 inch rear is what I dragged with. Worked pretty good
  8. Any suggestions on a tire for the banshee for mostly hard pack dirt/rock? There is mud here and there but I'm just looking for something to take away from some of my wheel spin on the trails. I was thinking of going with turf tamers 20x11x9 but was seeing what else everyone likes.
  9. Will do thanks. What company do you recommend to have domes made?
  10. Well I'm going to just was going to use it as a precaution. Is it bad or something?
  11. Ok thanks. So I can start with the .020 base gasket and whoever I have make the domes can get the squish right just based on that gasket thickness? Yeah I had someone else tell me 23cc as well so that seems to be the ticket so far. I can just add a little octane booster when it's super hot out.
  12. Hello all, New to the forum but have had a banshee for 10 years now. I used to drag race and built up a 421 cub and I have not been able to race in a few years. Banshee has done quite a bit of sitting around. I am going to trail ride a lot this year and I'm going to do a fresh rebuild on it for the season. Problem is I have 21cc domes and I will be running pump gas on it now instead of race fuel. I want to get different domes. What size should night run with 93 octane? Any benefit to the custom made domes for the pro design coolhead? Also I am wondering what thickness of base gasket I should get for when I do the squish band test? Little more info on my build in case this helps: Wiseco pistons (68mm) Cub cylinders (port work done stage 2) 4mil hot crank Pro design coolhead Any help would be apreciate Thanks
