Where r u locatedWish I could get $2k for this bike as she sits in my neck of the woods. If I could get $900 plus shipping for the stock engine I'll break down the rest of the parts.... really don't want to break down, $1800 would take it.
1999 stock engine. purchased 100% stock for the wife in '05. Did top end and then frame off restoration powder coat at that time. Make 3 trips a year at best with some 2+ year breaks in between. Put another OEM piston/ring/gasket/reed pedals in summer 2016 for good measure still had cross hatches in cylinder. Checked bottom end in Sept 2017: holds 6 psi for 15+ minutes. changed out countershaft and shift seal last year. runs well and ready to rip.
if DM doesn't work, text does: 208-703-1168 Boise, Idaho

That's awesome man, thanks. Definitely will do. I'm fucking excited now. Being able to make a call n have all the guess work done already is fuckin sweet.Call Redline. Tell him you're doing hillclimbs like Tyler used to. He will know what you need.

Like as far as tranny mods, porting type, which bearings on the crank, etc. Will redline tune the motor like fast does? I tuned my first 4mil this summer, first besides basically stock shees, and it was a headache.Well I have lonestar plus 1 plus 2's and elka 3's already too. Just didn't know if other shocks were more ideal, same with the arms. Going to 6 grand would b do-able. On the motor I wanna make sure I got everyone's advice in line before I call redline so I can tell them exactly what I want.

I would run a 10mm SuperCub from Redline, but that's going to cost you into the $6k range I'm sure.
$3,000 on chassis could be doable, if you get a package deal on shocks.
I'd run a +8 swingarm and +1 forward a-arms.
If you want to be competitive or beat all your competition, you may have to open your monies a little more.
Trust me..Been there, done that a lot of times.

Yes. There is a few competitions where there's hills like on the videos on banshee hq but not many. Mostly less steep hills n first one wins till its narrowed down oneWhen you say 3 wide, do you mean 3 quads race up the hill at the same time?

I'm 170, could spend about 5 on the motor (already have 10mil crank)(billet) and maybe 3 on the chassis. How much do you weigh?
What's your budget?

Anyway I share could use some info on a hillclimb racing (3 wide) build. Would like a 10mil, need to know what type of porting, pipes, carbs, suspension, swing arm and anything else. Some knowledgeable people gave some good advice already but more is always welcome. They say u know your shit when it comes to hillshooting
No. I haven't been on a hill since 2014.

Were you at a place called ski sawmill in pa last weekend? It's too bad the AMA and local districts killed the ATV hillclimb scene. I was big into it from 2004-2014.

Ill look him up on here, thanks. And ill take no offense, i laugh my ass off regularly on here from the comments, mostly cause fucktards ask for advise then don't take it. There's a few like special 06 and aeusully, that have helped a lot in the past and continued to do so. I take everyone advise and always am open to moreAs much as I cringe to say this (his head doesn't need to get any bigger) tyler (locogato) would be one that has done this and can point you in the right direction. Just be Thick skined and don't take his comments personal (kinda like talking to a teenager) when he gives you advice. But he may be a welth of knowledge in the direction you want to go on your build.

I'm up for trying new stuff, actually saw quite a few others are using fireball stuff.I really like fireball products as far as swing arms and a arms. But it their stuff is also pricey.

Also i always have bought lonestar stuff. Is there a cheaper option without sacrificing quality as far as swingarm? And would u cut every other row off the ambushes?10cub on race gas will make 110ish hp. Id imagine you would want somewhere around a 6 over 8 over swing arm. Id run a fox shock if money wasent and issue. Only tire i ever like on dirt for high hp setups were 22" ambush. Give cameron a call for the motor. I really liked my 10cub he did.

Sweet, thanks man. Answered my next question, redline it is. Fox sounds good too, don't really care a whole lot for my elkas, it was just a price was right thing. Hope it turns out good, saw what a few others 10mil cubs cost them. This will b it for me for a while.10cub on race gas will make 110ish hp. So went to watch some hillclimb racing this past weekend here in pa n would love to try it next year. Only like 4 banshees there against 30 450's, only one shee worth a damn but blew up. Anyway, not gonna be hard core hillshooter, would like to try a 10 mill (never have). Need to know what type of porting, ideal length of swingarm, will b done on dirt so tire type, just spent a ton on elkas for my other shee but what I need there too. Yes this is serious, fuckin hate those four pokes killing shit, ill spend whatever. Would like to get a builder going on the motor while I wait on suspension and swing arm. Any advice is appreciated

gonna try cutting a relief special06shee, just hope I don't fuck up the threads
-
soaked it over night in pb, took the bolt that I had a nut welded to(grade 8 bolt), put the impact to it and it twisted that fucking bolt around without budging a fucking bit. you have no idea how fucking pissed I am. if there was a frame that I could have in few days id buy it and smash this p.o.s. to pieces
-
tried it. then took a nut that fit down in it , welded a bolt to that nut and tried turning the holder out. fuckin thing wouldn't move. they don't have reverse threads or anything do they?
-
have any of you guys tried getting this god forsaken thing out? ive tried everything, including heating it with no luck. all im waiting on for my rebuild is powdercoating my frame and I need this damn thing out. ANY help is appreciated.
-
thanks guys, great help as always. cant wait till this thing is done. so many little things to improve that it seems as if it will never end.
-
is there any real benefit to these other than appearance?
-
ffs, smh. I don't know if your completely stupid but it's apparent your uneducated when it comes to these things. You get what you pay for. I didnt have a time limit either, just wanted it right away rather than waiting. I too have something else to ride, just love banshees. And no didn't buy it.

Did you buy it all at once? It didn't matter where the money came from to me. Bought a banshee, did a little too the motor and then found banshee hq and thought "fuck this, mine is a pos compared to these machines" and took the quickest way to change that without spending money that was needed for other things.

stupid? no, didn't wanna ride a half ass piece of shit. whats stupid about that? how in the hell else is someone supposed to build a nice shee? like I said before I wish I would have known about redline before I made a hasty decision on my vitos motor; not that it wont rip good or anything but don't have the money for a 4 grand motor if I don't like what I have. so 2500 into the motor with add ons to go with it (v-force4's, timing plate, 28mm pwk), 2700 to lonestar for a arms, axel, swingarm and elka 3's with brake lines clamps ect, new plastics and hardware. fucking thing is pretty much all brand new (well when its all put together). tell me in your opinion whats stupid about that.
-
No, see she's gonna ride it and say the hell with that and get something different. Then I'll b "stuck" with two built banshees lol. Didn't go well at the bank the other day. Took a loan out for 2010 f 150 and then 6000 to build my banshee and now they won't give me a penny more. Hoping the taxes get back SOON but if your aake to sell it before go ahead. I'd be lying if I said I hope it does though lol.

should be able to pm you within 2 to 2 1/2 weeks and set up a date and time to come see it. but of course if you can sell it in the meantime go ahead, first come first serve lol. would be awesome to have though. or for her to have I have to say lmao
