Ok so i got some idea of what to do now. Im going to do just the top end. I got 75 compression and 60 on the right cylinder. But the bike does not feel that bad. It does take a while to build power but it gets there. Now for the elkas i will see them this weekend and they are currently on a warrior will they work good on the banshee and what type of a arms will i need to run? If i do not need a bore would i just need to get it honed and buy same piston size right?

Sorry it took me a while to get on my phone was being stupid. So far i got some elka stage4 for my front suspension i got a really good deal from a local person. My budget for now is $800. But i want to rebuild the engine before i do anything else. With that said should i go bigger in my pistons or stay the same? My engine is all stock but will take it apart before odering anything

My bike is stock inside the engine and i know its time to rebuild the top end. What kit or what should i used for the rebuild. I do a lot of trail riding.

Ok so im looking into rebuilding my 2003 banshee. Everything is stock except for pipes throttle cable and clutch cable. I want a fast bike that i can still take out on trails. Can anyone think on a kit or put one together that would be best for me

Ok first of thanks to everyone even with those messing with me haha. So i dont dump the clutch just release it normally. And its on all shifts its take a while to build power but as loong as i keep rpms high the power is there. Now bad news i did a compression test and i got 70 in one cylinder and 50 on the other one thats bad right. But its great in the top end of gears

So as long as i keep rpms high it rides awesome carbs are synchronized and filters look good. How do i adjust the power band as far as the sprocket it was just 10$ so if its not a good idea i wont put it on and get something better

I also bought a 13 point sprocket for it which ill install this weekend

Fmf fatty pipes on it. K&N air filters on it. And something with the clutch cable. Other than that its all stock top end rebuilt about 8 months ago. And i will try to tighten powerband an see if it helps.

So i got my very first banshee but i think its not runing right i have a huge lag time from start of 1st gear untill i hit power band and after that its hell haha i can go trough them like crazy what can it be?
