I used a brg/seal kit from All Balls...I can't see the brand name on the actual seal.

Thanks for the response. I was going to split it...but...I pulled out the primary drive gear and the crank spins nice and free so the "problem" seems to be a lot of seal drag. I had greased the seal lips and the surface of the drive gear before assembly. Is it OK to have that much seal drag or should I replace that seal. Thanks again.

This is the first Banshee engine I have rebuilt. I replaced the crank bearings and seals (the large crank seal was very tight going over the crank, I did grease the seal lips). After torqueing the case halves together the crank is hard to turn over by hand...It does turn over but much harder than other 2-stroke engines I have rebuilt. Is this normal on the Banshee or should I split the case and replace the seals? Thanks
