1. take out the 9 bolts holding the stator cover on lay the cover on the bench
2. then depending which case saver you bought. you might have to remove the front sprocket and chain.
3. now take out the 3 little bolts holding the white plastic cover on an set it aside.
4. put the caser saver on and lock tite the 3 bolts and tightin them down.
5. put the sprocket and chain back on and torque the nut down to 59LB
6. you might have to cut the plastic mold off the inside of stator cover to have it fit on the motor.
7. put the gasket on the stator cover and tighten down the 9 bolts.
8. then go on your merry way.
I have t5s at the moment my good friend has fatties and he has a similar setup as I do. I think the fatties rob more of the power then the t5s. I thought so.
I have heard good things about the SST pipes from FMF tho. I never ran them tho.
421 serval the way to go my brother has one it is amazing. mod shift star is nice plus, mod dent roller, pan cake bearing for the clutch basket hub. other then it should do you. with out spending to much.
I'm switching my twist throttle over to thumb throttle on my 35 pwks. I see cable where it looks like you have to drill out the idle screw and retap the hole for the new idle screw. I was wounding do I have to do that are can I run the idle screws I have know in them. cause I don't really want to drill my carbs.
(Also I have the thumb throttle body for the handles bars. got it from a friend)
I pulled my carbs apart to change main jet cause it sloppy on low rpms but hauls on high rpms
as of now the main is 160 .
I'm at 1100Ft above sea level (might be 1000 or 1200)
I got T5 pipes
35 pwk carbs with DEK needles on top clip.
boysen reeds (for now)
bored .50 over
K&N filter (no air box lid)
what mains do you suggest to try 155 152 or 150?
