The motor is out pieces in boxes the whole thing by the look of it..however I can't see the tranny an that but clutch an stator asides are off..

Ok I just got my bike back from yamaha this what they said it needed and the price.. Piston kit $400 crank an rod $800 Crank seals $ 25 Gasket kit an seals $25 Cyl head gasket $116 Cyl gasket $106 Crank case gasket $50 Reed valve $30 Stopper reed valve $30 Gasket valve seal $25 Total of $1576 Then the labour $1200 Now I have pics i of it all in pieces I can upload when I get my laptop back but windy what's the plan from here

Ok so I rung yamaha up he said both pistons had broken an pieces had gone it the bottom end so itl need a bottom end an crank too he said itl be 2800 + 300 ..I told him I'm on my way over to pick it up an he said he'll box it all up for me..god never thought I'd be paying 300 to pick it up in pieces ..anyway when I pick it up should I ask if they have a manual for sale cause online seems to take a week to ship one

I I don't want to sound stupid but is a stock stroke 350 just a stock bike? I would like gobs of power too though..the use would be a little flat track trials an ripping in the straights..the thing with sendin to the states is shipping would be high return cost

Cause Id like to keep it trial rideable cause I'm joining a club nearby that do flat track an trials seeing as I won't be riding the shee at the beach no more

To be honest I'm willing to take as long as it takes as long as it gets done right ! I have a z400 to keep me happy for abit would a 421 be able to fit in a normal banshee frame or is that one of those drag banshee motors?

I have been talking a lil to windyjohnjohn I'm sure he's a good guy he said he's got one I'm just wondering price wise what the difference might be ..but I do think it is the best thing to do from here..

Ok so I'm weighing up my options on what I should do with my banshee it's at the dealer at the moment I'm really thinking about Takng it out of there tomorrow ..I'd be surprised if they told me its going to cost under 2k to fix ..a couple of u guys mentioned buying a engine from the USA an keeping my crap one to learn on ..now how would I go about this ..how much would I be able to pick up a good engine for an how would I go about making sure it's not worse then the one I got in there now..I know the shipping is prob ganna be costly but if it beats 2 to 3 k at the dealer I might aswell..and is there anyone out there willing to do some sort of deal

Really you think that's my best bet ? Just buy a motor from the us get it shipped d have to get yamaha t put t together an all..
