That is good to hear maybe ill hold on to it for a fried but I just like know exactly what I have especially when it comes to a serval top end... Not exactly a cheap fix if a rod let loose...

I'm very grateful for everyone's input, I've had few banshee's but this is my first serval so its new but exciting at the same time to learn all the new information...

Sorry for my absence vacation was definitely overdue, I never had a chance to measure anything before I left so as we all know I'm sitting here in suspense waiting to get home to get a good look at things... I was told its a 421 serval which the jugs and 68mm pistons were there to support the claims but I was in contact with original owner who said he had a shop build it for him so he was just telling me what the shop told him was in their... Obviously no hot rod crank but as long as its a 4 mill crank set up I can toss the wang and have Cam put me together a strong hot rod set up...

Ya from everything in coming across it seems like its a wang crank, its goin to the scrap pile I guess... All in all I'm very pleased with everything I got in the trade but this is why we pull em down and check what's really in there.... Almost never can trust a sellers word in this world...

I didn't get a chance to measure anything before I left for vacation, I was just tryin to see if anyone recognized the crank/rods because I never came across them before and surely not trying to build anything with an unknown...

Just tryin to come up with a plan for a winter project build, any input would be appreciated... I'm leaning towards redline for port work and would like to have pro mod trans done any suggestions on who would be best?

Well to be honest I have about $250 into the ktm I traded for the shee so I wasn't to concerned with going over it with a fine tooth comb at time of trade, hell carbs alone were worth what I was trading haha.... But if it was cash deal you bet your arse I check everything...

Thanks for fast response, obviously she is no 4 mill hot rod crank which I'm pissed to say the least about... The guy who built it had much more money than knowledge but I accept that what I don't accept is lying about the build... With that said its a virtually brand new serval top end, shearer pipes, 28pwks, with all the other goodies... I guess I just expect a little honesty but as we all know that's hard to come by now a days...

Ok guys I picked up a second banshee the other night which claimed to be a 421 serval... It came loaded with a bunch of goodies but was put together with some red flags blazing... So as I do with everything I pulled her apart to see what I got... Everything that was claimed to be there was except for the hot rod crank which brings me to my question what crank has 29L on one side of the rod and Y on the other? Thanks for everyone's input...
