  1. Thanks for all the replies. I have been very busy at work, but I am finally back at trying to get this thing sorted out. This problem has escalated into the left cylinder firing for about 10 seconds and then stopping while the right is fine. This prompted me to finally do a compression check on both cylinders and I got 135-140 on both. I then pulled the carbs again and everything appears to be in order. I am stumped because it was running fine and after a long ride all of this started. Any more ideas with this new info?

  3. I have an 01 banshee with toomey t6 exhaust and k&n intake I bought a few months ago. When I got it, I did a carb deep cleaning and rebuild, I also used the toomey perfect jet kit. It ran awesome and I did 3+ hour ride each weekend, but I noticed the next day it was hard to start. Fast forward and now if it sits more than a day, I need to spray pre-mix/gas into the intake. Pilots are 1.5 turns out, the slides are perfectly in sync and it runs great once started and warm. I checked the choke tube and it exists and is intact. Any ideas?
  4. I have a pair of rear 4/156 hubs from an 89-90 banshee. These are commonly used to run a 10" rear wheel setup. They are in excellent condition with both the spline and threads on the stud being in perfect shape. $80 including shipping and paypal fees.
  5. I am not really into the race cut look. I put those maier stock replacement fenders on about a month ago and they fit great with no issues and look awesome.

  9. I have a brand new in packaging Pivot Works front wheel bearing kit part #: pwfwk-y09-000. $20 (shipping and paypal gift included).
  10. I was going to use this setup for ripping around local trails, but have since acquired a different setup in the purchase of my last bike. One wheel has a slight bend (very slight, almost unnoticeable in person, but easy to see in the photos, holds air with no issue and could easily be tapped out). One tire has one plug that was like that when I acquired the set. I had no issues and actually forgot about it until photographing the set (cleaned it up a bit to show). The tread is easily 75%+ with no other issues to speak of. Perfect set for someone looking to test the waters on a 20x11x10 setup. $130 - Price includes shipping and PayPal (gift or add 3% to total).
  11. Just got shipping quotes from UPS, FedEX and USPS. They are way more expensive to ship than I anticipated, so unfortunately I can let them go for under $200 shipped in the U.S. Sorry for any confusion, I have never shipped a set of plastics before so I figured the $165 would cover the cost plus shipping, but I was mistaken.
  12. Im in Bucks County, right outside Philadelphia.
  13. I have switched my bike up a bit and no longer have use for my OEM Yamaha white plastics. They are in great shape with only a few scrapes here and there (nothing that cant be sanded out), there are no bends or cracks of any kind and all of the mounting holes are intact as they should be. Price is $165 shipped in the U.S.
  14. I am in the process of changing up the color scheme of my Banshee and have ordered different colored side tank plastics and radiator cover. These parts are in excellent shape and came from my 2001 banshee. There are no absolutely no bends, cracks or deep scratches. I have 100% positive seller feedback on eBay (dswinty724). $80 (including shipping and paypal fees). Thanks
  15. I originally ordered my OEM replacements from yamahapart.com which is Flemington Circle Yamaha (about 20 mins from my house). I called to get some clarity and they confirmed that regardless of part number specific to year, Yamaha factory only ships the white with riveted warning labels. They gave me shit and told me "I was done with them and not to order again, but they ultimately cancelled my order and gave me my money back. I called zmperfomance.com and got stock replacement Maiers in white. I bought new black OEM rad and side covers and I think this combo will work out nicely. IMO it isn't worth spending over $400 for new plastics only to have those ridiculous labels all over them.
  16. Yeah seems retarded I know, but I went back to the pics of my old bike that I sold about 4 years ago (pictured above). I bought the bike as pictured and just assumed they were oem without graphics. After doing more research and going back and looking at old pics they must have been Maier. The have no labels and no drilled out rivets, they are completely smooth, the bike also has a Maier rad cover.
  17. I had them on my 2002 and they looked decent. I have a 2001 now and the OEM plastics just aren't cutting it for me. Here they are on the 2002:
  18. I have done some research over the past few days and apparently the Maier plastic quality is thicker and nice than oem and the warning labels are stickers that can be peeled off. There were some reports of sketchy fitment, but generally that was regarding the side covers and rad cover. Im willing to give them a shot.
  19. I actually ordered OEM replacements yesterday only to cancel the order after realizing that they are going to have those ridiculous warning badges riveted to them still. I think I am going to go Maier over OEM and see what happens.
  20. OEM BANSHEE FENDERS

  21. I just purchased an 01 Banshee and the OEM plastics are rough. I am having trouble finding OEM white fenders, are the Maier or UFO plastics any good? I am looking for non-race cut front and rear white fenders. Where is the best place to find them? Thanks
  22. I considered it, but I would rather have something complete with the original motor. Thanks for the heads up though.
  23. Nice bike, but outside of my budget unfortunately. Good luck with the sale!
