  1. Update: 1) Port size inconsistency noted, we're making some improvements to this that should reduce the amount of install prep work in the future 2) We did add a little more meat to the exterior of the casting near the intake ports to cut reduce the need for welding on less aggressive ports, we are revisiting to see if we can add more to the mould safely... Will keep everyone posted when i know the final answer. 3) These cylinders are a work in progress, and although we aren't going to be able to make everyone's suggestions happen, we're more then open to constructive criticism, this is what builds a good product. Finally, if anyone has received a set that they aren't happy with, send me a PM, and i will get you a replacement set if necessary... your feedback is important.
  2. Hey Everyone, It's been awhile since my last follow up on this (many summer drinks after long hours of tooling improvements, testing and community feedback) I want to send a thanks to everyone that commented on this post and the invaluable feedback that was shared. This community helped make these cylinders possible. For everyone that tested and shared their experience (you know who you are) thanks so much. Best. Leigh
  3. Hey Everyone, I am out of samples for the moment do to popular demand.... Thanks for the support. Im going to do a follow up after we get some feedback from the current testers, hopefully with lots of pictures and details about what was good and what needs to be improved. For everyone else that wants to test that hasn't had the opportunity, i've started a tester waiting list, PIM me your details and I will personally follow up when i have units available for testing. We will likely run 20-25 units through testing through-out this year before we bring them to market, so if you missed the chance this time I will try to accommodate on the next round. All the best Leigh
  4. Wow, Never expected such a massive reply, this forum is alive and well. Its great to see so many people engaged in this conversation. Thanks to everyone for sharing opinions, and its probably good for me to clear a few things up and make a proper introduction I started a parts business from my basement in 2009, mostly supplying existing aftermarket for yamaha atv's. I began part development in 2011 and started private labeling for a few companies in Canada/USA. I employ 1 full time engineer. We do sell on eBay, as well as private label and drop ship for a ton of small/medium sized dealers. I brought this project to the forums first because I wanted a new way to approach product development, I thought it would be a smart idea to gather community feedback before we launch the product. I didn't develop these units with the intention of competing with CUB or Athena cylinders, I built them because i believed there was a limited market for guys that just wanted a reliable cylinder that could be bolted on at a reasonable price tag...and even original Yamaha cylinders are inconsistent at best. Our shop is located in Petersburg, Ontario, Canada (1 hour south of Toronto), if there are any guys that are local to me i would be more then happy to give you a set of cylinders to try out, and even happy to cover the cost of all other required parts. My direct number is 519-513-0244 ex 224, give me a call if you are in the area I would love to be a sponsor on the forum, just want to make sure that i actually have something of value to offer to everyone before spending $$. Thanks for all the comments Leigh
  5. Agreed that ported are definitely better We do want to offer a few different ports eventually, for now we are just looking for good honest feedback from them as they are. We will eventually be offering several bore sizes as well.
  6. Hey, They aren't ported. They are 100% stock, they are designed spec for spec the same with original Yamaha. You could port them if you wanted to, but we are looking for feedback before they are modified if possible.
  7. Hey Everyone, We have developed a new set of OEM cylinders for the Banshee and are looking for a couple of Beta testers to Run them on there bikes for feedback. Cylinders have finished our inspection and are pre-release right now which means we want them tested on a few more machines before we begin selling them on the open market. Our MSRP for the cylinders is 499.00 for the pair. I have 2 pair in hand that im offering at 250.00 with a money back guarantee if they don't work as they should. We will cover the cost of getting the cylinders to you, in return all we are asking for is your direct feedback on function and ease of install. You will be required to purchase a set of stock pistons and the required gaskets to go along with it. Bore measures same as stock 64.00MM Call Adam if your interested in trying them out. We are only looking for buyers that are willing to provide direct feedback, please don't buy if you don't intend to install within a short time frame.
