How much smoke is normal? Also what does a normal banshee power band feel like mostly the higher rpm end of it? Mine hits it hard then falls on its face. Maybe I need to shift sooner? Sorry this is my first banshee extremely new to two strokes

I have a 2000 banshee fmf fatty pipe and two unifilters with no air box. Stock carbs. It smokes when I first start it and really doesn't get any better as it warms up. It runs fine with no bogging. Tips of both plugs are black. I just bought it so I don't know what jetting is in it now. I just need to know what jetting would be good. About 1000 ft above sea level, around 60-90 deg temps. I rode it the other day and the smoking slowed to almost nothing after a while. I'm new to two strokes. Is this something I can fix with the air screws or will I have to reject? Thanks
