yes, i was told they were cut

How will the CPI's be for low and mid power? I ride with a lot of the 450 4 strokes, main reason to do the 4mil and port for me was to give me a little more power against them I know the new bikes handle better and are better suited to trails and MX than a Banshee. But I've always been a 2 stroke fan. I'm also a little crazier and aggressive when it comes to riding so that also gives me a little bit of an edge.

the domes also came from HJR

how much HP increase will you see from a Dune port to a MX port?
-
T5's

When i dropped it of for tuning and dyno, i asked what he thought it would make. I was told mid 60's. (This wasn't with HJR, but a local shop that is known for good work and tuning) Regardless, I'm happy with the performance. Bike pulls hard and pulls for a nice amount of time, also has a good low-mid letting me stay in 2nd and 3rd in the trails not having to constantly be shifting. Of course more HP would be nice for bragging rights, but overall I'm good with it.

Also, its his MX port

yes, race gas. No, 64 does that sound low to you?

timing plate (+5) and cool head 180lbs for compression. Others that don't have much to do with HP , billet impeller and gear, shift star, 200 watt DC conversion, pancake bearing. I've had the bike since new in 2000. it has sat in garage for last 6 years. Never wanted to sell it, I knew the hobby would come back. This time around I almost did sell it to buy a 450 4 stroke, but luckily i rode a friends first and it didn't do it for me. It didn't give the smile per mile the Banshee does :-) So I've been lurking around here getting caught up and slowly getting the bike back in riding shape. This was the first weekend out on it, had a blast and bike was great.

not sure. I can ask the shop that did the tune and dyno.

No need to comment on what i got or what i thought i was getting, I got exactly what i thought i was getting, not sure what you are trying to say with that. What I was saying is they are called stage 3, when I downloaded the manual, the manual has stage 3's listed as having rebound. I said in my original post they were correctly described when i purchased them as not having rebound. When they were ordered I told them the type of A arms, my weight and bike they were going on. I was in Croom this weekend and would ride, come back and adjust and ride again, did this quite a few times. I was with a friend that has Elkas and could tell a big difference between his bike and mine. He has the stage 3's with rebound. So i was thinking this has something to do with it. Purpose of my post was to see if anyone, maybe someone that's experienced with suspension setup, could chime in and tell me if the rebound setting would have this affect on the ride and what i was experiencing.

I got the Elka stage 3 special that has been going on(LT’s). Installed them on Laeger +2+1 A arms. So far I haven’t been too happy with the front, the rear feels great, no issues. On the fronts I have tried adjusting the spring preload, they are either real stiff or real soft and bottom out. They are called stage 3, but only have spring pre-load and compression for the front shocks. I downloaded Elkas manual and they show the stage 3’s also having rebound, I guess on these with the special they took it off to get that price. (The description calls them out as only Spring preload and compression so its they do call it out correctly). I was just hoping for a better ride than what they are. Anyone have any experience with them? Is this the norm on this particular shock? At this point I’m thinking of selling the fronts and getting some Fox floats or Axis.

Hats what I did, Race tech 200 DC conversion. Then I wires it to the stock light switch. I'm also running their 12 batt. I'll get a pic of where I put the batt

Yea, was thinking about that also. I still have the floods, haven't sent them back yet. I'll try the 2 spots and if I don't like it, I'll try one of each.
-
yea, cut the tabs and then drilled a hole. Originally i had the flood pastern lights, but the distance wasn't that great, so changed them to the spots, much better now.

Only pic I have on me. Ill post a couple more later. I mounted in stock location. (Don’t mid the shocks, this was just holding the bike up waiting on my LT shocks to come in)

I just got my cylinders back from HJR today. Got a MX port along with 4 mm crank, cool head w/ domes, and pistons. (Also got shift star, pancake bearing and new clutch) All went pretty smooth dealing with Kevin, took a week. Should have it back in the bike this weekend and on the dyno early next week. Ill post my results when I get them.

good eye, thanks for pointing that out.
