well I must be doing the quotes wrong? I rang DHL today and the bloke on the phone said the only service they would offer on it is express air freight and would have been $1400.. I am clearly doing something wrong.

Haha kangaroo world. That was exactly my thoughts on the $1800 motor! I'd be happy with just a standard motor to get it going. I originally bought a rolling chassis that has since been rebuilt (stripped, painted, new bushes etc..) And correct if it is declared under $1000 and or a gift there are no import tax fees.. n2otoofast4u how much did shipping cost from your end?

Not entirely sure what they are worth in America.. Over here they are fairly pricey $1800 bare motor (no carbs, exhaust , loom etc) Would not bother me if I had to assemble it. Do you reckon it would be better buying everything seperate?

Hey guys, Im after a banshee engine. Doesnt matter if it needs a little work etc but finding one in Australia is rediculous!!! Let me know what you have got. Obviously needs to be shipped to Australia.. Cheers Southy
