Finally got it fixed. The clutch adjuster was adjusted too far in. Thanks for the help.

It has a new top and bottom end

Everything was in tact. Still same problem. It jerks when I put it in gear. Seems like clutches not grabbing

I took the cover off. The ball is not welded but when I put it in gear and push it it still rolls but not as easy as in neutral

I took the clutch basket off and everything is installed correct now. Pin in shift star is in but still having same problem. It shifts out but won't move. Back tires roll if I push it even after I put it in gear. I can feel a little tension when it's in gear while pushing it but they should lock if in gear.

This how I installed it. I put clutch basket on then center hub. Put the washer in that bends and the another washer then the nut that goes on with air impact gun. Then installed clutch plates. First plate black then chrome clockwise pattern. Total of 7 black plates and 6 chrome then I put pressure plate on along with springs. My clutch plates have a little play In the from side to side as if it's a gap between plates and pressure plate.

My clutch plates have a wiggle in them. They aren't tight. Is it something missing

Yes it was 7 plates and 6 silver plates in between the 7 plates clock wise

Yes the outer hub is on correct but also my clutch lever is very tight and can hardly pull it

Yes I took clutch basket and all off but same thing. The clutch plates look good but I notice the shifter has a Littleton play from side to side. I don't know if it supposed to do that. I can push it a little and it will not engage the shift star but if I pull it opposite direction it will engage shift star

Every time I start it. I shift down to 1st and I can hear it shift and it jerks forward and nothing after that it just idles

Has a new top end rebuild. I can hear all The gears click but when I start it I can click in a gear but won't go into any gears as if the gear shifter is free

It will start and idle fine but when I put it in gear it won't move and can't engage in any more gears. If I turn it off I can engage in all gears

Had a mechanic come by my garage. I was lucky only need a top end. Also told me I did a good job when I took it apart ha ha. Thanks for the help to those with positive responses I really appreciate it. And to others Remember Everyone Has a 1st time at something. God bless

I've gotten the left cylinder off but can't get the right cylinder off. I feels like it's stuck

Do I have to pull the clutch basket off

How do I take the top end off . I can see the top of the piston and one of them has a chunk of metal missing.
