Alright I'm stuck again. Tabs are off and now the header pipe is hitting the top a arm bolt. Even if I flip it around it's gonna be really really close. Wtf to do now!?? Someone wanna trade header pipes ?
Trying to fit a set of T3's on my bike. Can't get the pipe all the way on the header bc the pipe is hitting the factory rubber bumper on the frame. I'd rather not cut it off if I don't have to, but I see the motor mounts are slotted, should I try lifting the front of the motor ? Just wondering what solutions there are.
Looking for some input on how much to adjust my timing so I don't cause any damage to the bike. I have a set of Toomey T3's and an K&N filter, stock air box with no snorkel. Stock carbs n motor that's never been rebuilt. Any info is appreciated
Atv galaxy frigged up my order and I do not have a drill n tap for the air screws. Does anyone know what size thread they are ? (I'm sure I could match it with a tap n die set) How does that air screw work? Where does it seat after I drill n tap the hole in carb. Thanks guys !
Alright, I'll probably go down one with the main, I'd rather run it a little bit on the richer side, but not to the point of having oil run outta my pipes. I also have a tors removal kit coming in the mail.
Between 1900-560 feet above sea level ( Western New York) Stock carbs for a 99 banshee. Factory air box with snorkel still on, with k&n filter 40:1 - yamalube- 93 octane ( non- ethanol )
I just bought a set of toomey T3's. I have a k&n air filter. The motor is stock. All I'll be doing is trail riding and dirt roads. Think overheating will be an issue? What jets should I start with?
