Just resolved prob. The nut on the original screw was stripped at the head of the screw and wouldn't adjust as it kept trying to crossthread. When I removed the TORS and hit them with a sledge, I installed a new idle adjust screw/nut combo. Also, re-tapped the hole as the original was excessively tight. Well, the new screw wouldn't hold position as it kept popping out of the internal threads. The old screw fit nice and snug. Hacked sawed off the nut on the old and installed the nut that came with the new and all is well. I also noticed when I tried to put the new nut on the old screw it was very difficult. Could it be that I got a screw with out of spec threads? Or that the screw that came with the bike was an oddball? Both looked the same to the naked eye but obviously they aren't.
