  2. I went riding last weekend and managed to shift either up or down and it didn't go into any gear, and you could hear rattling... What could be wrong? Am I not shifting it all the way?. Sent from my HTC6435LVW

  6. Would porting my banshee be worth it?(with the listed mods below) What kind of performance gain's would I get? Who would you suggest for porting? 4 mill or port what would I see better Gaines from? Last question, are FMF FATTY pipes really that bad? I like'em, I think they sound nice.... But my friends dad says they suck... I would just like a couple diffrent responses. I like to do mostly trail riding and track riding and the occasional dune ride, And I don't really plan on going to a 4 mill any time soon if ever because from what I have seen that's quite spendy. (Yeah yeah I know performance comes at a cost bla blah blah.) The only "mods" done are FMF FATTY pipes with the stock silencer (I like the sleeper look) and I will be getting the k&n uni filter soon. Please no sarcasm or rude responses, I'm just trying to learn from people who obviously know more about this than me And if you could list good porters along the west coast that would be nice .   7. thanks for the info. its dripped out the overflow when it was bone stock doing a long stupid burnout... other than that it hasn't.
  8. WINDYCITYJOHN- it only drips when it gets HOT under regular riding it never drips. (doesnt drip out of the pipes it drips ONTO the pipes).. what could cause the flywheel to have become 'spun'? I KNOW im a newb

Ok, this Saturday i was riding/testing out the shee, I could have swore i heard some quite® pop's (not sure if i was on or off the throttle) after doing some nice pulls 1-6(gear) a couple times. then it started to bogg quite a bit when i gave it some gas no matter where i was in the rpm's Then i heard one super loud pop and shut it of as soon as i heard it. then about five minutes later i rode back to my house which was maybe 50 ft and it ran fine I dont think it was getting to hot as it usually starts to drip coolant onto the pipe when it gets hot. Any info on what might have caused this would be nice. FMF fatty pipes, stock silencer, no snorkel, 260 jetts, sea level...

OK.. well i only went to my local Yamaha dealer to see what there suggestions were for the jet size, i had gotten 3 different answer (not even in the same ball park). my mom bought it new in 2005 and never rode (maybe 10 hours since this year). im 15 and learning the basics. motor, quads, and cars all tickle my fancy, but upon recently i haven't been able to learn as much about these as i would like to. i do yard work for people and my grandparents.

  16. The local yamaha shop suggested 30 pilots 310 main and needle in middle and drill a 2-3 in hole in the back of the lid... They have now said three diffrent main size jets.
  17. Jeremy6655- i want to make sure you inderstand that ot has stock silencers? And stock airbox only snorkel removed. Not trying to be rude but want to make sure. And thanks for the input. My dad just tends to freak out wen i say i need to go to yamaha

  19. i tried 24o jets and it would start popping and i tried 270 and it would just rev crazy on its own... stock airbox but no snorkel (lid is on)
  20. I have an 05 banshee everything is stock except for FMF fatty pipes (stock silencer). It tends to bogg as i give it throttle to take off but is fine once it actually starts to rev? 220 jets no clip adjustments no pilot jet changes and its sea level. It also heats up really fast then leaks coolant onto the pipe. would a coolhead help with this? should i get a silencer K&N's or the coolhead first and then what second? thanks for the help IM NOT RICH ONLY 15 AND WORK FOR MY MONEY...
  21. i have FMF fatty pipes with stock silencer... they wont fit unless you fab up something... me and my dad just cut a chunk out of the old stock pipes and slipped it over were the new pipes meet the silencer. tight fit but i guess it works..
