  1. Cock sucker I know. My uncle builds them so I may just have him help me. I just don't see how it went from running amazing to running like shit
  2. Would a leak make it hard to start? I also have my timing +4 if that makes any difference. Could the TORS be causing all of the problems? Could a certain part in the carb be in the wrong carb?
  3. Alright. It started the other day. Ummm… that's pretty close. Like a paper card?
  4. I can't get the sombitch started either. I've got good spark and I clean my pick up coil off and my flywheel magnets. Should it be like a credit card away from the flywheel magnets?
  5. Damn autocorrect. Intake**
  6. I'm going to check my I take boots and my reed gaskets. I have a spacer for my reeds so there's a couple more seals to check. Could be my crossover for my I take. It not quite 10 off. It was like 144 or something close to that. Why does that seem so high for stock? I am going to do a Noss head with 20cc domes so I need to check those gaskets too. I'll clean my carbs too. I have a tors eliminator kit on it way too. The first time I did it I didn't hold the throttle wide open and I kicked it once. That's where I got my first numbers. Yesterday I did it WOT and kicked it till the guage quit climbing.
  7. I did the compression check wrong and when I did it the right time just now, I had 150 on the left and 140 on the right.
  8. I'm not picking up what your layin down Larry's Shee
  9. Umm… I'm not sure if your being sarcastic or not. I would think it would barely run with that low of compression
  10. I've never rebuilt one. Do they run like dog crap when they need to be rebuilt
  11. Checked my compression and 90 pounds on the right, 105 on the right.
  12. I am going to get rid of the TORS. What's the GAP supposed to be at? Maybe I'll take the carbs off and check the jets.
  13. No. I've never done a plug chop. But I think my stator might be the problem.
  14. Good question. Not stock. Maybe 310 and 27.5???? I'm not sure. It ran great at home and I went for like 6 rides before I went to the dunes.
  15. Racetech electric
  16. I just recently put a different stator on my banshee and installed a battery with some sweet LED's. I took off my fmf fattys and put on cpi's and took off my v force 3 reeds and put on v force 4 reeds. I didn't jet it. It ran awesome at home (elevation is sea level) and then I went to sand lake and on my first flippin ride, it ran like crap and started shooting blue flames out of the right exhaust. So I took it back to camp and looked at it a little bit and couldn't figure out the problem. I tried different plugs and switched the coil, cleaned the carbs thoroughly. It's never been rebuilt. It will idle but when you give it throttle, the left cylinder runs fine but the right cylinder will bogg and then backfire like it shoots out air. It had good spark when I put the stator on because I checked it. The reeds are brand new, it starts fine, I think fuel is dumping through the cylinder but idk. It's been a long time since I messed with it because it was pissing me off. I took my right pipe off and the rings don't look like they have much life left. Idk. It's almost time for the dunes so I need to figure this out. 04 Banshee Never been rebuilt Stock motor Cpi inframes Vforce 4 reeds Still have TORS New stator LED's
  17. Thanks guys. I'll try it out.
  18. I got my banshee a few months back and I love it. The only problem is I need some more bottom end for cruising. I ride in the sand mostly and I have to stay way up in the powerband and I don't like revving it so high just to cruise. So I bought an adjustable timing plate. My motor is all stock and I don't know if I should adjust the timing +2 or +4. I see that most people have done +4 but they have more than stock compression. So I'm questioning +2 or +4. Eventually, I will port my motor and get some different heads. But for now, I'm doing my timing.
