  1. I was out riding my shee the other day, and it started to develop a shocking when I touched my levers. At first I thought it was my imagination but it got worse. The bike doesn't miss at all but it did seen to have lost some down low response but still hauls ass up in the rpm's. Obviously there is a short, I was just wondering if anybody has experienced this before and can give me a starting point to start looking. Thanks.
  2. Just found a chart on noss machine web site.
  3. Yes my the engine is stock, OP's is 60 over. That would be a cool chart to pin if somebody could find it. I'm sure it would be for stock engines but it would be a good guide.
  4. What if you live @ 5000ft elevation?
  5. Thanks for the replies on the pipes.
  6. I doubt it. I have been riding with twist throttles for 35 yrs. Can't stand thumb throttles.
  7. Did they not put t3 on the chamber like t5 or t6? And if they are, are they any good at all, or should I start looking for something different?
  8. Thanks 84!
  9. The silencers are toomys. But the pipes don't look like them (that i can tell) nor do they say t5 or t6 on them.
  10. Nobody has any idea what brand pipes these are?
  11. Ok, I got dooped. DUH! I was wondering what this would accomplish. That is why I asked. (coil wires)
  12. I didn't buy a kit. when you install a twist throttle it come off then.
  13. It has been mention to look at the orange & black wire going to the coil. If the orange is on the - & the black is on the + switch then. When you remove the TORS the bike will not idle anymore, so you have to install idle screws.
  14. I just bought a 2002. I have been reading the tricks & mods people have done and performed a few so far. TORS removal with twist throttle, Ordered a idle kit, switched the orange & black wire on the coil (why do they do this from the factory & how does it help by switching?) Next? I am thinking of reeds, timing plate & sending head out to be milled. I did a compression test it has 107psi in both cylinders. I think that is not to bad seeing i am at 5000ft. Also, anybody know what brand pipes these are? Thanks.
