    The motor was built by a&s. If he is a "one stop shop" I assume he cut it. If he cut it, then it only has maybe 5 passes on it. I think the price is pretty fair considering e erything needed is here and they usually cost more to have an existing trans cut.     On a serious note, I do suggest you buy an impact driver so you can take the Phillips head screws out without stripping anything and turning it into an abortion.

    Even good calipers are only good for reference. I prefer dial over digital. And a good set will cost a lot more than the ones you posted.

    Really? I can shift from first to sixth gear without even moving, and can hit nuetral with ease. I have a bearing on the stator side of the shift drum, modded star, and every other dog cut off the gears. I'm running a stock shift shaft, stock spring and a stock detent arm. Fugger shifts like butter.
