  1. Thanks that link is awsome. I have the yamaha service manual 2 help me along also. Time to get stuck in and sort this shee out. Thanks for all the help. Il post pics as i go along and ask for help if i get into trouble.
  2. I dont no what to do. I dont want 2 put al the new parts in and have 2 open it again. On the other hand i cant really afford to fix a transmission atm. I dont feel comfortable, going on my luck its the transmission. I have never worked on a bottom end either might do more harm than good
  3. Thanks for the quick reply. I have to order the bushing out of america and the price of shipping alone was costing the same as a new gear here in ireland. Now i have the clutch basket of when i turn the main shaft in nutral gear its smooth for 3/4 of a turn then it catches a bit then countines smooth until it hits the same point . Would i need to open the bottom end 2 inspect or is it fine? Its not catching alot just at that 1 wee point.
  4. Bought my 1st banshee few days ago. Was going really good for the 1st few days then i found it hard to get into 2nd gear. Every other gear is perfect and when i let of the load it wil go into 2nd by itself. Someone also said the quad sounded off and was revving too high as if sumthing was slipping. Also when i bought it, it would idle just fine an now it wont. I decided to take the clutch cover off an found the remains of a washer an circlip in the oil. The kick idler is almost off because of the circlip and washer. The clutch fibers are very low so ordered them along with kick idler. Would all these problems be related and causing it hard to find 2nd gear? Any help or advice would be great thanks
