  1. Well besides the reeds the Banshee started in 1 kick every time. The machine is pretty tight. I have actually owned a Banshee before. I have also owned other 2 strokes like Tecate 3 wheelers, a quadzilla, 250r's. This is the first time out of all those machines a reed went bad. I don't know much about reeds, but these seem to be better than the stockers? I just cant afford V-force right now. I am very particular about my stuff, and the vito's seemed ok according to the reviews?
  2. I think im going to order the Vito's. They are about $30 less than the Boyesen Pro's. Im just in so much of a hurry to ride it. I really hope it beats my friends 450r.
  3. Cant wait that long. What do you guys think about the Vito's? I know a guy above says he has them and likes them. I guess the are basically the same as the Boyesen PRO's but half the price lol.
  4. Im trying to stay about $50-$55 Cheapest I can find Pro reeds are $83! that's crazy for tiny pieces of carbon fiber! lol Cheapest Power reeds are about $53 Since these reeds below are carbon fiber below would they be better to buy than the Power reeds and comparable to the Pro reeds? First are Vito's and second are TDR, the TDR says race motors tho?? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Yamaha-Banshee-Vitos-Carbon-Flex-2-stage-reed-set-/310085802345?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item48328dd969&vxp=mtr http://www.ebay.com/itm/Banshee-Carbon-Fiber-Reeds-Full-Modified-Motors-by-TDR-/271190275762?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3f243336b2&vxp=mtr Thanks for any help! I wanna order first thing Monday morning so I can ride by next weekend
  5. What kind of reeds, stock? Isnt it better to buy new like for reliability? Sorry I don't know much about reeds. But I am pretty good with the engines.
  6. I did search but I didn't know what was better for my banshee. So the Pro reeds are the way to go? I doubt any store in town will have them so id have to order them. Probably off ebay and hope it doesn't take a week to get them
  7. I just got a 88 Banshee with a 386 Big bore, cool heads, DNP exhaust and other stuff im not sure. The guy I got it from didn't know to much. The questions I have is about Reeds. The Banshee was running bad and we did a lot of test's. Couldn't find anything wrong. The very last thing we looked at was reeds and one was busted off. Boyesen has Power Reeds and Pro series, what is the difference? Im not sure what I need for the mods on the motor. Keep in mind that I cant afford VF3 reeds or anything like that, My budget is about $50. Also see a Vito's brand carbon flex 2 stage reeds? What is 2 stage? Im sorry I don't know much about the Banshee right now but want to get it back running. The compression on each cylinder was about 148-150 lbs. Is that normal? Thanks for any info!
