  1. Got it thanks! Do you guys recomend RTV'ing the gasket as well, or just straight gasket when putting the clutch cover back on?
  2. Thanks, but it doesn't show the actual schematic, just the search page. Which schematic for the part 16?
  3. Thansk for the tips guys. I went with the Mull Eng. billet gear only because I couldn't find any other manufacturers making them and a Chariot Speed Ultra Hi Flow Impeller and a seal kit from Dennis Kirk. In the process of reomving the kicker start kicker, I broke the bolt off inside the kicker. Finally got it off, but added another kicker to the growing list of replacement parts. Also ordered a new kick start seal because it looked like crap and I would like to be better safe than sorry. I am worried about one thing though. The metal coolant pipe the goes through the clutch cover AND the top of the crank case should have an O ring on it, but can't seem to ocate it on any parts diagrams. Any info on this? A part number maybe or just RTV it?
  4. IT WORKED! I'll see if I can get the other pic loaded up.
  5. F it. I'm tired of trying to re size these stupid pics. Been trying for about 2 hours now. Yes it was the water pump gear that had melted. There is another pic of white plastic melted into the bearing. I'm sure I could re use the bearing, but better safe than sorry.
  6. I've been on about three or four trail rides with my Banshee since I bought and two rides ago, it started burning coolant. Like all of it. So thanks to you guys and your info, I was able to figure out what the problem was.
  7. I had them apart one at a time. I'll have to repost in about two weeks as I will not have the time to do any work on the bike after today for about two weeks, but if you think it would be easier to fix myself, Hoppedup, I'll definitely give it a try. It'll just have to wait for two weeks. Sorry guys.
  8. Not sure about the slides, as I haven't touched it since I brought it home from the shop. The shop said they had synched the carbs, but I'm not sure. That's why I am looking for a better shop. I tried to work on it and got myself with a shitty running Shee, so I'm looking for a good shop in Vegas or Phoenix that you guys trust to work on your Shee's. It ran great til the throttle cable melted and I tried to replace the stupid thing. Thanks for the help guys!
  9. What's the best Banshee mechanic/tuner in Las Vegas. I tried to replace the throttle cable on my 90 Shee and it ran like shit afterwards. Took it to a local shop here and they kept it for 2 months, but when I got it back, it still runs like crap til it hits the pipe then comes alive. There's fuel in the crankcase, he says. The carbs leak now more than ever, so needless to say I'm pissed, I want it fixed correctly, and I want it done ASAP. Where is the best place to take it to in Las Vegas? I'm certainly not getting it done here in Lake Havasu.
