  2. There's nothing on the expansion chamber.
  3. Elevation is 12-1300 I don't know about the "porting" All I know is it's ported. Stock carbs with the TORS removed, has a boost bottle. Compression PSI is 168. I really don't know too much about it. It's a stock box with lid, the box has "speed holes" in it with a k&n filter. T5 T6? I'm just looking to kinda set it up so it won't blow up again. I know I gotta look and see what's in the carbs, but if it's not correct I need to know when to set it and what to buy. It's going to be driving in all weathe hot and cold so, I need a happy medium.
  4. So no one can give me a good idea where to set the carbs? I was told by someone else to use 93 with 32:1, keep the timing to 2*, A 330 main, keep stock pilot. Set the needle in the center, and it should be a pretty safe start.

  6. Anyone know based on the mods where I should set the carbs too?
  7. I got it to just sit and idle, though the idle to me seems a little on the low side!

  9. Any info about fuel mixture and where I should set the carbs up to? And what should be my coolant temp along with exhaust temp?

  11. I just recently purchased a 96 or 98 350 that was in a hundred pieces, I got it back together and running. Now I wanna make sure the tuning is correct before I blow it up. Which the 1st owner did. If anyone could give me a good recommendation of what the fuel mix should be 32:1? Or whatever it maybe, What plugs I should run, and so on. Where to set the carbs. Here's everything I know about it. Hot Rod stroker crank Bored 60 over Blaster pistons Toomey pipes Ported and polished 23.5 domes CC cool head domes No clue on the reeds. Upgraded stator. Timing it at 4* adv It seems to be running pretty good, Smokes a tad bit when you get on it, so I think it maybe be a rich AFR or mixture. At I put a NGK8 heat range plug in it, seems to be burning pretty good. Took it out for a ride got to the top of 3rd had power and all seemed fine, but if I get off the throttle real quick and lock the rear brakes up it will stall out. So I pulled the timing back to 3 and no change, seems to start a little easier with the timing a bit lower.
