Ok I will. I let a small engine shop do the work not me. I will be doing it myself this time ate you saying no silicon?

The rings are ok it was sparking out of the exhaust that is why I took it apart and the piston looks melted with pits

Maybe air leak I just rebuiit the top end rode it twice now this I got new pistons already but need to now why its doing this

What sucks is I only got one trip to the dunes on that motor

Found out what happed the guy that rebuilt my motor did not smooth the ports and the rings were hitting the sharp edges

What would cause it to eat the rings

It is tight on the crank still

Just took the stator cover off and it looks good still sparking out of stator side pipe
