  1. I'll be interested to hear if that corrects the problem. Do you have spark to both cylinders?
  2. I wish that was it, slides are correctly positioned and working okay.

Yes, I disassembled both carbs and meticulously cleaned them and made sure all the jets and passages were squeaky clean, I also disassembled the gas tank this morning and cleaned the built in filters to ensure adequate fuel flow. I'm still not sure what is going on. Thanks for your response, appreciate it.
  4. I started with a new set of plugs and have done as you suggest a couple of times. This morning I adjusted the float level on the right side carb (the side that is not firing) thinking that the fuel level in the float bowl was too low for the pilot jet to pick it up and send it into the cylinder. I don't believe it is a rich condition, just the opposite, it seems like there is no fuel in the 'idle circuit' for this cylinder. When I prime the cylinder prior to starting, both cylinders will fire and run until the introduced fuel is spent, then that one cylinder quits running and it runs only on the left (this is evidenced by no exhaust pressure coming out the right side exhaust compared to the left side). I appreciate the input and any advice anyone can offer as I continue to troubleshoot is welc
  5. Now this is interesting, I am experiencing the same problem. The banshee will only run on one cylinder at a time. and it has switched from the left side to the right side. I have disassembled and cleaned both carbs in an effort to correct the problem. I also disconnected one plug wire from the cylinder that was not running once I thought this was occuring to verify that the cylinder was not running. However when I do this I still have spark from the ploug wire as evidenced by it arcing to the head. I actually think this is a fuel problem as I can prime the motor to start it by putting a small amount of gas in each carb (kinda dangerous) and they both run until the fuel has been burned up, it then returns to the condition of running on one cylinder. My next step is to disassemble the fuel valve on the gas tank and check for obstructions although it appears that there is a good flow of gas from the fuel line to the carbs. If anyone has any suggestions on this situation I would appreciate their expertise. Thanks!
