Bad earth I think? Tester didn't work and I had a bad earth mabe runs now but dies at low revs. Think I need to adjust the ignition timing on the Ricky's stator ? + or -????? Also do they have a thermastat as the barrel is warm but rad and water is stone cold? Thermastat or impeller I know the Tri z's are bad for impeller I know I've three lol

I can't get any volts from my stator or my friends stator that is off his working bike ARGH!!!! wtf am I doing wrong stator and flywheel conected, earth on black, no power from any other wires on both stators?!!!!! I'm right in saying 12 dc current??

Still waiting for my mate to bring his tester round for that. I was under the impression that the switch / tether was a switch to earth out the live, not to create a circuit? I have been now'n to be wrong in the past though

So after buying a banshee with a wrecked wiring loom, I bought a second hand stator, fly wheel, loom, cdi and coil from a 01 quad, It looks aside the key wires are permanently conected, I don't have a handlebar switch or tors or lights. I've earthed the coil and another wire that looks asive it should be earthed as it has a ring conector to bolt to something. The guy who I got it of has been very helpful and I have no reason to disbelieve him when he said it was working perfectly. Obviously I've got something not right somewhere as there's no spark what so ever. Do I need to wire anything together where the handle bar switch went? Is there some other wires that need joining etc. Cheers in advance lads

I've never had a problem with Taiwanese gear either, never had a carb from them but pistons, bearings have gone a long way so mabe your on to something there kozy, ill keep it in mind.

Yea I think I'm gona hold out for some pwk's like you've said something around 28mm I've blown all my cash on prezzies so ill be Saving up no matter anyway now. I've contacted electrex and they sell a lighting mag for £250 so if nothing comes up at least there's that and I can sell the race one. Cheers everyone, new this was best place to come.

I'm getting confused now, I have been told that 34 mm pj's will be too big for my stock engine??????

Alright everyone I'm a newbie on ere so go easy with. I bought a banshee that was a none runner and found all sorts wrong with it to date but its running now (ish) what I need to know is does the rd stator, mag, loom etc work with banshee and do the carb work the same without any major jetting ect. Reason being is that I have a race ignition with no lights on it which I want and my carb sliders have worn and are sticking. Don't have that much more cash to throw at it and I've found some rd350 bits cheap. Hopefully you guys can help thanks
