  1. Ok thanks guys so basically the ladder having trussing/bracing would be stronger versus the standard tubular swingarm. I ride mainly street/drag an trails
  2. Hey guys, im finally starting to build a 4 mil and want to keep the bike somewhat trail-able so I'm looking at plus 4 swingarms. I see there are three diferent designs: standard, ladder, and arched. I am more interested in the standard or ladder type swingarm from stellar. Could you guys give me some insight on differences (excluding the aesthetics) of these two types. I know ladder systems are used on vehicles for better weight transfer as well as a reduction in axle wrap/wheel hop. Does this concept also apply to swingarms, Thanks guys
  3. I would like to purchase the carbs if still for sale
  4. looking to buy a set of 36/38 lectron carbs set for alky

  8. Ok so 4 mil crank 115 rods cylinders ported for 4 mil with a dune/play port 19 cc domes 28 pwk carbs proper wiseco striker pistons (795) series I believe. Would this be a better approach ? I'm 500-600 ft above sea level
  9. Alright cool and why would 16 s be a bad idea running straight c12 with 927 oil
  10. after crank seal blew, leaned motor, and toasted bearings im trying to decide between a nice ported stock stroke motor with 16cc domes and 28pwk's versus a 4 mil long rod motor stock ported cylinders, 16cc domes and 28pwk's. i already need to purchase new crank and cylinders as well. riding is usually a mix of trail,mx, and WOT runs just trying to get some info on best bang for the buck here thanks any input is appreciated
  11. Alright thanks a bunch anything else?
  12. If anyone has any input on things to do since the case is wide open for performance an reliability I am all ears. Thanks a bunch
  13. I'm not on a super tight budget but I'm in college and each book is anywhere from 100-300 bucks so I can't go crazy at least not right now now. My plan as of now is 4mil crank from Vito's or fast welded trued tz bearing shift star mod stock cylinders with agressive trail port 16cc domes wiseco pro lites either rad valves or v3s pro circuit pipes gutted toomey silencers( siting in shop) iridium plugs c12 with castor 927. Am I on the right track here? Eventually this will be my trail bike along with the few yzs I have and I wanna build a dune/drag bike most likely a cub 10 mil on alchy with all the Ella and whistles but it will be awhile before that
  14. looking for a set of stock cylinders if nyone has them and also a set of decent +1 +2 arms i would appreciate it, located near san antonio texas, thanks
  15. im in adkins tx by san antonio and thanks guys ive always wanted to do a +4 stroker so i think now is definitely the time
  16. here is the blown crank seal
  17. also does anyone have any recommendations on who to send the crank to, im thinking of re sleeving jugs to standard size as well as doing an aggressive trail port, wiseco pistons and etc., having crank trued, welded, and new bearings. also which bearing should be used? thanks for the help guys ive had two strokes before but this is my first banshee so im kinda flying blind here, and thanks agin everyone
  18. here is everything apart, any guesses on what caused the flat spot on just the right piston?
  19. it was not ridden in the cold i was just too lazy to go outside and rip it apart when it was colt it was around 55-60 degrees the day i went to ride and thats usually when it runs best i found a possible issue, one of the lips on the crank seal was bent up i guess the guy who built the motor for me either got a little careless or it was just a fluke thing im uploading the pictures now.
  20. thats the only spot in the crank that is blued where it rubbed the case, it was jetted pretty rich and running 32:1 seems kind of unlikely that it was lean but i could be wrong, im just trying to figure out where i need to go from here besides a top end, is the crank still usable being blued like that i mean i just need a little insight on what to do from here, thanks guys
  21. chamfering of the cylinders
