  11. Hi, I would like to know what do you guys think about the Athena 392cc cylinders kit. Many people seem to say they're no good. anybody tried them? what's wrong with them?? please note that my question is more about quality than performance, i mean i don't care if its not the most HP per $, i'm just looking for fair quality at good price. Bike usage = trail i plan to use the stock crank with stock carbs. Thanks for your advices.
  12. okay i've got something new, let's just see if i figure it out right. i ran it with air box lid revoved and the hesitation has completely disapered. so i was running rich on my needles, right? now it had much more power like this and i don't feel like putting the lid back . do some guys run like this? i guess it involves more frequent air filter cleaning but otherwise is there any problem? thanks guys!

  14. yes stock head, stock engine... the clip is on the 4th slot from the top, 2nd from the needle end.
  15. i checked it, i get L110 R105 , this is on a cold engine (would you rather check it on a hot engine?) and again, at 82fts asl. does it seems okay? the guy say he juts re-ring it... thanks!

Hi, i'm new to this forum, i purchased this 2000 banshee a month ago. i live near montreal, quebec, canada. please help me solve this problem: Engine starts very easeley, iddles real good, runs real good a high rev, lots of power. the problem happens when i run at low rpm then suddenly want to accelerate hard. the engine will hesitate for a few seconds before starting to rev up with power. it has a great trottle response under no load, it will hesitate under load only. i want to get rid of this hesitation. at firts the carbs were way out of sync, now its fixed. im at 80 fts above sea, temperature these days are around 35 Fahrenheit. my setup is: fmf fatty power core 2 boost bottle vforce3 stock air box main jets are 280 pilot air 2 turns out needles in 4th slots oil mix 32:1 what could be wrong? anybody could help? don't hesitate to ask if you need more infos... thanks alot!
