Im looking into taking my spare motor(bone stock) and doing a 4 mil serval it would be a dedicated dune bike with a balance of trail,dune, and drag im thinking of using the serval cylinders because I hear they have a lot more low to mid range power than say a cub bike. any input on a better cylinder, who does a good port for one advice in general would be greatly appreciated. have 28mm flatslides and t5 for the bike. would like to have something making 70+ usable  hp on gas let me know what you think, thanks, Zack

  2. so as you guy mught have realized I ask something stupid or have a problem i post about the bike almost daly, anyway the problem now is the banshee seemed extremly slugish and slobbery so i did a plug change the ones i took out were very old. anyways cleaned up idle and midrange alot but now i have realized what the real problem is, ignition just as the bike enters the power band it just stops revving, acts like when your riding one that is too cold that wont rev, anyways Im about to send this turd down the road im so mad at it. do any of you guys have a similar problem or know what it is? thanks - Zack

     

  3. hey guys planning on doing a dune ported stock cylinder, 350 crank, 34mm pjs, cpi smallbore inframes, cool head 19cc domes on gas. Hopefully that setup will run alot better that my crappy trail port with fmfs and stock carbs. so really all im wondering is will the new setup have a much better hp and torque numbers.

  4. i have a set of I think full flight a arms that a buddy wants to sell me for cheap the shock length is stock but do +2 arms really make a bike handle or ride any better, i ride mostly dune trails and dune and sometime in pastures that is all thanks Zack

  5. hey guys i have a stock stroke .10 over bore bike sopposedly ported for trails by sandtrax in tulsa oklahoma, id really like a 450 but i love my banshee and would like to build it to be a better trail and play bike, like a 450. for pipes i have fmf sst and stock carbs, i also own a pair of pro circut pipes stock cylinders and 34 mm pwk carbs how, also another complete bottom end and cases my current setup will outrun 90 percent of 450s but id just like a play/dune bike thanks for any info that can be provided thanks

  6. okay guys so i was at little sahara over snake hunt and was tearing through the trails when i noticed my bike just rolling along in neutral and i  applied the throttle and it slams back into gear the chain and sprckets are in good shape as well as chain tention. the bike only does this in 2nd gear stock transmition and good clutch; clutch is a non-lockup this is just a dune bike and i just need it to work now as i ride in 2 it slips every 1 or 2 minutes hits very hard when it goes back into gear all other gears are perfect and it shifts correctly, bike is still ridable; i was told it could be a shift fork is bent but wanted to see what you guys though, thanks,

  7. hey i have a banshee dune ported my sandtrax, geared stock front sprocket 14 or 15 cant remember and a 44 tooth in the back with 9 paddle comp cut paddle brat paddles, tors removal lightened flywheel cool head with 19cc domes better ignition, stock swinger dirt digger full clutch, k&n pods, jetting: 340m and 30p. its just a decent dune and trail bike but I was just wondering how you guys think it would run vs newer 450s and raptors thanks- zack

     

  8. my wife's stock bore/ stroke 350cc banshee with full weight frame, steel axle, +2 a-arms and fully sprung shocks ran a 4.5 on a sand/ dirt track. witha 290lb rider..

     

    id like to see a well built turbo modern direct injection 2 stroke snomo motor in a drag chassis....

    my bike is the same setup but with stock a arms and a 130 lb rider (im a horrible rider) and mine runs 4.8s with dune porting!

  9. all your turbo raptor that may or may outrun the shees at the track it takes two or three times the money to make that raptor run with a well built drag bike. im just not sold because my 1400$ ported piped turd shee will beat 450s and raptors all day!

  10. well the major problem is the welded gusseted and the completly destroyed where you attatch the pegs. they cut the frame section there and welded in a same size piece of tubing then welded the bars on, so when i cut them idk how im going to re attatch an sort of peg
