Canada actually has immigration laws

Can't help you with rebuild info. But if I remember right, it is less expensive to buy a new crank already welded and ready to go. Now this was having someone else rebuild for me.

So what part made you 'laugh your ass off'?
When the guy said "me banshee will kick your raptor azz"

I am going to plan for this trip just like I planned for spring ride, so DAVE you may begin talking shit in 3.....2....1......

Also had both, more parts available for banshee, easier to work on and make power with banshee. Like said ESR sells the 250r cases. Not sure about mew transmission gears/shafts. Honda doesn't even make cdi or stators for those bikes, but cr ignition works really well without lights.
Do yourself a favor and go with banshee. Thats my opinion.

I think FMF recommends 30 pilot for their pipes, like trick said start with 300 main. I believe you will end up with less(280/290) so order a few different sizes

One bike at a time.
You really need to confirm that you have no leaks FIRST, then carry on with jetting. If you do have a leak, you will just be chasing jetting.
Compression is too high for a stock crank (non welded). After reading your post, I suggest you tear motor down and see whats going on with crank, bearings, port timings, domes cc, bore size.
Now me: I would check for leaks, jet properly, then let the mofo'er rip. If it blows........REBUILD. good luck and welcome.

Spacely spockets or Cogswell cogs
-
Fill with diesel or kerosene like said.

dynamite in the gas tank bro. be sure to stand close when it explodes
Have you ever heard that pop sound?
-
As said, check your compression. See if spark plugs are still tight. Plugs will tend to back out in dangerously lean conditions

I think Vito makes a very good crank. If you run stock stroke, then I would try the vito ss piston. I have never used them, but I understand they simulate engine porting (somewhat) more than a stock piston
