the pads are sliding fine on the caliper if that is what you mean?....... even without the bolts in the caliper it is obvious that theres not enough space there to clear the rotor...

Ooops... I Meant that I cannot get the pads to fit over the brake rotor obviously....

Bought a '96 banshee from a friend and replaced the rear brakes with new pads.. Now no what I try I cannot get the pads spread enough to fit over the caliper... I have tried putting a c-clamp on the piston to completely compress it and still cannot get it over the caliper.. Is there an adjustment on the parking brake to allow the pads to spread farther?? not sure what my problem is.... Thanks..
