  2. I recently joined BHQ after i got my Banshee and I have been hearing about alot of different motors. Like 4mil, 10mil, Cheetah, Cub, Twisters etc. I was wondering if anyone could fill me in. I would like to know the differences, general info, whatever. I seen a post a few weeks ago that had some description of motors but i cant find it. Fill me in. Thanks

  5. When im riding i notice that my clutch accutator comes up. And when it comes up it pops the cable out off the perch. Why Is the accutator poping up? I put it in like the book said but I think I might have missed something. Any Ideas of what it could be?

  8. How long is the break in period for new rings and do I have to do anything special or just take it easy? What should i premix the first tank at?
  9. I am running stock carbs, a toomey 2 stage air filter, a stock airbox with out lid and 12 vents. I am running T5's. Everything else is stock. what would be a good jet setup? I've never done jetting before so im not even sure where to start.
  10. so to syncronizing the carbs is just making so the slides go up at the same time?

  13. How do i get the gear off the clutch basket? Do i have to drill it off? and where can i get a set of gears for cheap? i found some straight cuts from FAST but i'd like to not spend that much

  16. So is the 4mil just a different crank and longer rods?
  17. About how much am I gonna spend going with porting and a 4mil? I know its gonna be up there (It part of the hobby haha) im just looking for a ball park number
  18. Similar before or after i go 4mil? So if i get porting done then want to go 4mil will i need new cylinders, or can i just get those re-ported? And if i get the porting before i go 4mil should i be able to keep up with a 250r with a 310? just wondering cuz my friends got one and i want to beat him lol
  19. Could I get a Drag/Dune port and still run stock bore and stroke with 28mm PWKs and T-5's? I was thinking about just doing a mild port but i would like to go with a 4mil sometime in the future. I'm not a big racer at all, just some drags with friends but nothing serious.

  21. Ok thanks guys for all the help, im glad i made the switch from BT. ALOT more help here, plus everyones cooler . ill look into those 28mm PWK's and get some ordered up. Will they be fine in the future when i go to do some porting? i dont want to do a dune/drag port nothing too big i just want to have a mild port job
  22. Is porting nessassary with the T5's? I plan to do porting in the future maybe around spring time or mid winter, So If i get the 28mm pwk's the bike should run fairly good? And yea the trx is a 250r
  23. The reason the left cylinder has no compression is cuz there was a tear in the carb boot between the carb and motor :/
  24. Well ive got a set of T'5's on the way, Would this help with the carbs? What are some downfalls to running a carb that big?
  25. Ok so i raced my friend who has a bored out trx 250 to a 310 and i raced him and he beat me but not by much, Can a stock banshee beat a bored trx 250? my quad is stock except for 36mm mikunis. Im asking because After I finished replacing my crank seals i put the cylinders and head on and i noticed that the left side had no compression, so i took tht cylinder off to check the ring gap and when i went to put the ring in the cylinder it just fell right through. This is my first banshee and idk if it could beat a bored trx stock or not. So idk if i lost because of crappy compression on that side or what?? When i bought the bike 2 weeks ago the right pipe had more smoke coming out than the left one. Could that be a result of low compression on that side?
