bought my first banshee recently and its time to bust my dune cherry... guy i bought it from gave me to sets of silencers i had no idea the difference they both are powercores one set seems to have arrestors but i know they dont have them normaly... i took the end cap off he just tacked a screen into the pipe... stops a stick haha ... when they test are they gonna look for the usfa stamp or just stick my pipes?? he said i should be ok but he doesnt go to silver lake.. should i chance it?? i mean i gotta pass sound too if im the lucky banshee to get tested but if i dont i should be ok right stick wise right sound i know ill fail.

i think powercore 2's have spark arrestors. i ride at the dunes with em no problem

the boost cannon must have backfired and blown a hole in the seat! poor banshee have to feel sorry for the bike to have such a sad sob owner.

[Trinity or dmc?]

I was watching some youtube videos on trinity racing stage 4 exhaust and some on dmc 916 and i think the trinity sounds sick and so does the dmc so it comes down to which adds more hp. Does anyone know which one adds more hp. Thanks.

Okay so i decided im going to go with black plastics on my banshee. I'm going to buy them from maier plastics and they have 3 black options stealth black carbon fiber and just black. Im not looking for a matte black and i imagine thats what the stealth black would be like so im either going to go with carbon fiber or just black. My question is which would look better the black or carbon fiber black and can you see the details on the carbon fiber plastics from far away or no because i never have seen it in person. Thanks and any comments would be appreciated.

if you have piston slap, you may have a small piston for the bore size, pull it appart and check clearances to make sure there isnt an issue before it damages the cylinders/motor.

Hey guys i have a 2002 banshee that i think has piston slap. My other banshee the piston cylinder doesnt vibrate like to the point where you can see it. On my 2002 it does and you can hear like the cylinder vibrating you can also see it plain as day shaking. So i was wondering if this is piston slap or just needs all the bolts tightened up. Thanks.

Alright guys so i have a blue banshee. I'm getting tired of the same color so i'm thinking about getting my frame powdercoated along with a-arms and everything else black and then getting all black plastics. Still like that it doesnt have me completely sold. Could you guys give some opinions on what you think would look good. Thanks.

Ok I pulled the boost bottle and installed the factoy cross tube, took it over to brother-in-laws and we ripped around on it. No issues today, no over excessive smoking, and no tar oil dripping out the tail pipes.

Guess it was the gas/oil mix that was in it. No telling how old it was or what type of oil he was using. Bike is running really great.

Still reading around on the forums trying to learn the lingo and what mods Im going to do next. Im not to fond of the black and white look, first time it got called an Oreo done it for me, Im looking into diffrent color scheme now. Ill prolly ride it for the rest of the summer as is then tear it down this winter and start spending the bucks on it.

Got lots of research to do, prolly followed by questions.

You have a nice banshee. Since you dont like the white and black plastics replace the white plastics with black ones. You cant go wrong with an all black banshee.
