Question. Did you happen to install new plugs with the new topend? I had a brand new ngk plug that was shorted Internally. Killed all spark. Worth checking if this is the case

The lighting circuit has nothing to do with the ignition. Two seperate deals there.

Not mad. There's plenty of questions you can and should ask. But in the time it takes for someone to respond, you could have read 10x what one person can tell you. Timing plate is a simple mod. It works from stock to fully built bikes. Can be done to your stock plate for free.
If you read up you can learn all this info and you'll be able to get an idea of what your doing.
Nothing worse then being spoon fed everything to go riding and breaking down. Now you have no clue wtf to do because all you did was do what you were told. No problem solving skills.

I have all of this stuff. I actually have a complete roller
