I'm not Mr. Expert know it all or anything but I had a great damn good time riding my banshee after it was rebuilt by HJR. I'm giving my honest opinion about my experience with HJR. I've dealt with other local shops with this banshee and other bikes I've had over the years, as well as family and friends with there experiences with other shops and in my opinion HJR was really the best I've ever dealt with in customer service and the finished product of his work!

Herr Jugs Racing(site sponser) is the absolute best spot to have your cylinders ported PERIOD! Kevin Herr did a dune port job and on my T5 piped 03 banshee, and let me tell you this is an extreme day and night difference. Kevin ported my cylinders and milled the head.. now i have a 65 horsepower banshee! My bike is a rocket now, i could not believe how much more power i have now that its ported! crazy mid and topend, and very smooth powerband hit.. all gears rip and pull super hard, even 6th gear is crazy!!! i smoke 450s and 700s with ease!!!! Kevin at Herr Jugs racing the shit!!

Ive been looking into these ebay swingarms, price looks great! How much heavier than stock swinger? U guys think the added weight would hinder performance?

Ive seen some inexpensive swing arms on eBay, I here they suck. But isaw a swing arm by jl engineering chrome for 425 are they any Good?

So I can still use stock shock/spring? What's the difference between stock carrier vs round?

Would you guys recommend a 4inch instead of a 6? I ride dessert and dunes...love dragging! And smoking 4 strokes! Lol..... do I really need a round style carrier or can I stick with the stock carrier? And do I need to do anything with the rear shock/spring?

I raced my buddy a bunch of times .. his banshee has the same mods minus the dune port. (Toomey t5 pipes, kn filter , milled head, and jetted stock carbs... ) I smoked him so bad ! We both were shocked on how much the power difference was on just the port job! Tbe top speed was way crazy..

Just got back from my first desert trip with my brand new banshee rebuild and port job from Herr Jugs Racing! OMG this banshee is FAAAAST! I could not believe the POWER that it has now! With 65 hp to the wheels, I am the fastest bike in my camp aswell as king of where I was riding. I actually had guys turning down drag challenges i made with 450s, banshees, raptors... Honestly nobody that i raced could even come close! I am so amazed how much I was beating the competition. The powerband and the rpm range is ridiculous. I don't think I have ever smiled so much in one weekend than this trip! Kevin at HJR really nows his shit about making real deal horsepower! Every detail that he explained how the bike will perform is to the T! If there is anyone thinking about modding their banshee .... Herr Jugs Racing is the only way to go! And the customer service I received from Kevin was the absolute best! Thanks again HJR!
